3Willowbridge is downstream of Michael Perry reserve, on a small flood plain of Second Creek.
Small reserve encompassing second creek between Andrews walk and Willowbridge Court. Extensive removal of exotic trees and revegetation have made this a more natural watercourse and habitat.
I found a very “hidden gem” Michael Perry Botanic Reserve in Stonyfell last weekend. This is one of the most iconic protected areas. It was created after the 1970s. You can see many variety of different plants, and some maybe a hundred years old. Walk along the Second Creek, then reach to the Willowbridge Reserve you can see endless water and small waterfalls during the rainy season (June to August)
Highly recommended for hiking there. It is 1.8 kilometers one round, not long but it feels super relaxing and Really love this little reserve! Will be back in the summer!
