22Amazing Filipino food and friendly staff! We ordered the pork tocino and longganisa (spiced sausages) rice bowls and the leche flan croissant which was so delicious! Would highly recommend:) If you’re not a fan of rice, the sandos look just as good!
Great coffee and modern Filipino food. I highly recommend the longanisa Sando and beef tapa
I love the meal! Friendly people and food is delicious. Would definitely be my recommend:)
A bit disappointed with the quality and lack of flavours. I had the tocino to start and the meat was very hard and a bit too chewy. I then had the kilawin which was close to being inedible. It lacked the sweetness and zest that you expect from kilawin and I’m not sure if adding the chips to it was necessary. It’s very hard to taste the saltiness given how overpowering the spice was. I then had Turon to finish my meal and that was okay, it was too heavy and the other flavours were fighting for attention.
Hope you folks get the flavours right. Service is warm and sweet, but the food is just nowhere near I was hoping it to be: (
Definitely not the place to go for a group more than 3, more so if you have guests from interstate.
Food and coffee was okay, but unfortunately, once you receive horrible customer service, you are left with a bad taste. Does not help either when you have to wait for a long time in freezing weather because you were declined to be sat inside even when there's seats available and we said it's ok to be seated separately. Coffee had gone cold waiting for the croissant to be served.
Would have preferred to have been politely declined in the first place or advised an estimated wait period because of our number so we could have considered our options, which other cafe/restos routinely do. Post a signage for pre-bookings only for groups as your kitchen is small. Don't put your menu overhead if you "can't have you" customers "wandering around". Don't advise for "next time" if you can't provide a pleasant service the first time.
Very disheartened to say, a Filipino inspired cafe lacking Filipino hospitality, or just plain hospitality.
It was so-so. Staff are chill. Ordered the beef tapa but my friend and I were both disappointed how hard the meat was. Not what we expected to be the Filipino Tapsilog - I guess it was catered to Aussie palate. Maybe give it a try but definitely not the Filo Silog. Would not rush back, sorry
I ordered a rice bowl. The meat was flavourful but the rice was undercooked. It was nice to get a replacement but I have waited the order for an hour because it got busy. I also ordered a small coffee with alternative milk but seemed to be overcharged? It was $7.35 which was not matched with the price listed on menu.
Went for a group of 9 during peak hour for lunch on a Saturday. Surprised when they gave us an okay to serve us! We each ordered one main and coffee.
We waited for 1.5 hours before receiving our food. I ordered pork + rice bowl and was told that there's no rice left after waiting an hour, but the chef was kind enough to replace the rice with soba noodle. The same scenario with my other 2 mates.
Half an hour later, unfortunately they gave us all incorrect orders. We needed to return back and spoke with the staff. Weirdly, the staff who served us was a bit cranky, no apology was given, which was a let down.
The foods were great when delivered correctly to our table, the pork that I ordered is so tasty! There is peanut sauce in soba noodle and that is good too. I hope they do warn people with allergy as this is not written anywhere on the menu.
Afterwards, the chef was kind enough to give us an apology!
Overall, I wouldn't think I'll come back if the cafe is busy - too time consuming! But if it is empty, might worth a visit.
Loved the aesthetic of this seemingly hidden local cafe. Devoured their flan croissant and it was so good! Kept coming back thereafter. Must try you guys
Avoid - Coffee was good, but that's about it.
I went for a quiet Saturday lunch and my group was waiting for half of our coffees for an hour and food for 2 hours. They ran out of rice and got multiple orders incorrect. Food was average at best.
Avoid.
Edit: we warned them we had a group of 9 coming. They said that was fine.
My new favourite lunch place. I’ve been coming on Friday’s and I love the foodie passion from the chef. He took the time to talk about how it was cooked and the special ingredients. Serious passion.
Really delicious Filipino foods! I absolutely love the garlic fried rice and pork tocino. The owner was really nice and friendly. The coffee was also amazing. Will visit Will and Pascoe again next time I visit Adelaide:)
Was a lil bit worried when the cafe switched management but Will & Pascoe has remained my favourite lunch spot! Super lovely staff and an incredible menu which I usually wouldn’t try, but I’m glad I did! Food service is really fast too so it’s super convenient when I’m rushing around on my lunch break. Excited for W&Ps big plans.:)
Great food and great service. Had the rice bowl with pork which was delicious and a generous serving. Will definitely be back.
Was very surprised,
Tasty as fresh food. Staff were very pleasant, will be going back again.
I was pleasantly surprised because it was quiet!
Such lovely and fresh choices which gave good variety without being too much to choose from. Their staple bases crossed vegetables, proteins and innovative sweets which could be customised at the counter. I particularly liked their salad bases being 'naked' of dressings so you could choose from simple Greek yoghurt through to pesto.
Excellent value for money, fresh, colourful and highly recommended for lunch or breakfast in the city.
Great place for a yummy and healthy brunch or late lunch. Friendly staff, too! Highly recommended!
Coffee tasted very odd and took a long time to arrive. Food might be ok, I've never tried it here. With kicco just across the road, the coffee needs to improve
Love their coffee. Little hole-in-wall joint with a whole lotta heart. It's my go to for a quick pick me up.
Great salads and sandwiches - quality fresh ingredients. Need to lift the game on coffee which was very poor. Will go back for food.
