57 Expansive playground area. Shaded.areas to picnic.
Ideal for kids up to 10 only in my view.
Then of course are the mini trains.check out the timetables.fun for everyone who loves train rides with the kids
Went there to aprende the day and a RC car racr was happening. Nice place for kids and family
We went here during a food truck festival and it was great. That playground is epic and will definitely be taking our kid to it when it's a little bit older
Big, nature inspired, playground with a range of play equipment for a huge span of ages. There is a section designed for younger kids which is surrounded by a fence and gate, making it a lot easier to keep an eye on younger kids playing. The non fenced off area is designed for older kids and is very interactive and gives lots of room to use the equipment however you like, while still having a nature focused design. The flying fox is amazing, with a wheelchair accessible seat as well as a regular one. There are lots of grass area and seating areas perfect for hosting a party or having a picnic. The creek and dog trail is great for a walk with the kids, big or small and contains many statues and aboriginal things to educate and teach about their culture. With the remote controlled car racing track and the mini train tracks nearby, this is one of the best playgrounds/parks I have ever been to! The only downside is that it can get a little busy during the school holidays and weekends, but that is understandable.
Good cafe, food good, popular in the mornings but I wonder if it is lack of competition or loyal customers.
Presents well
This is a beautiful designed playground for both little kids and bigger kids, there is lots of nice wooden play equipment. There is further a lovely nature play area with a manual water pump. Besides the playground there is a lot of walking paths on the overall site, green areas to kick a ball on.
Our kids had a fantastic day here, I can highly recommend this for a day out.
We LOVE this place!
Playgrounds for all ages including a fenced in playground for the little ones.
BBQ and toilet facilities available.
This place offers so much, walking trails, mini ride on trains, large grassy areas, remote control cars club, dog training trails and plenty of parking for all!
Great place for the family. Plenty of playground area, model race cars sometimes, miniature trains and creek bed to explore.
Wonderful time watching grandchildren play basketball at stadium. Great to see so many young children being involved in the sport.
Good park with a wide range of sports or weekend entertainment. New children's nature playground as well.
Easy to find a parking space, modern and clean. Equipment that suits the little kids and the bigger kids. Mini trains, RC track, playgrounds all within walking distance of one another and lots of grass and shade.
The completely closed off area for younger kids is great and another area for the older kids too. Picnic seating, lovely location, toilets.
Parking is a problem more spaces too accept the bigger vehicles plus more cars and visitors. Need other toilet blocks, if SUNA wants to expand more has to be done.
Just attended a Noarlunga V's South U12's match in which the refs hardly called a foul or travel on the home team which gave the Noarlunga players to take full advantage of unsportsmanlike behaviour. However South couldn't do a thing right without being penalized. Where is John Beamish when he was really needed to pull the refs into order. Apparently the stadium head ref condoned their behaviour whilst standing there watching and chuckling to himself. Was still shaking my head at what I witnessed when I got back to Westies Stadium.
Kids love it here. There's a train (doesn't run everyday), large flying fox, nature play, climbing apparatus, walking trails, oval and a track to play with electric cars. Something for almost everyone
Great park experience. The nature playground is fantastic, right next to the trains. Finding what part of the park you want to get to can be challenging because I'd you put the park name in GPS it will take you anywhere around the massive edge. Lots of offerings with archery, trains, horse riding, playgrounds, sports parks, etc. If meeting someone there, be specific about which road to enter off of.
Great place for kids to play. The local school have visits often. On weekends nearby there is a model train track that people ride on.
Massive area for the kids to play even with restrictions. Loads of space to play ball games or walk dogs or do whatever you please. Always clean and tidy. Has train rides on Sunday mornings that are cheap for the whole family.
Such a beautiful spot to have a BBQ, picnic or any kind of gathering. The mini steam train is fantastic for all ages
Awesome playground (for little and big kids. Lots to do e.g. Sand and water play, climbing equipment, instruments, swings, slides, remote control car track, Coffee and ice cream trucks on weekends make it even more attractive.
The reserve itself is great for small walks and picnics and every 2nd and 4th Sunday the miniature train track opens its station for a fun ride through the reserve.
