Wildlife Park reviews
22All I can say is that it was the biggest scam of all time, I thought I could get in, but the kangaroos were so cute. We have driven for so long and there is no hotel in this town to stay in. I want to cry.
Great little stop in to hop out and stretch your legs and see some of Australia's hreat wildlife.
Its more like a lunch or coffee spot side of the road with 1 table and bench for a family or group. Park the vehicle and see the wildlife over the fence. White kangaroos and peacocks are main attraction.
Didn’t plan to come here but I’m glad I did! It’s worth visiting especially if you’re on a Vic-SA (or SA-Vic) trip. The white kangaroos are rare and they’re beautiful!
A quite diverse enclosed native wildlife park in the middle of town, featuring white Kangaroos which is fairly rare in my opinion.
It has been developed by the local community of Bordertown and has existed since 1968.
You can't enter the grounds but you can walk or drive the perimeter and observe natural behaviour with birds coming and going as they please and the Kangaroos of all ages just going about their business
Well worth the free visit.
DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS
They are fed by volunteers
Unfortunately you can’t get up close to the kangaroos, they were quite beautiful from a distance though. Maybe they venture closer to the fence at other times
We didn't expect this adventure. It was our first time seeing white Kangaroos for almost 9 years here living in Victoria. Great experience!
Very cool to see the white kangaroos! They are kept safe you can look from
The outside you can’t go in but still worth the look. Nice to see Animals being looked after
Deffinitely worth the stop when passing through Border town. The kangaroos are rare white not albino. The normal colour kangaroos carry the recessive white gene
This is the largest collection of white Kangaroos you will see anywhere. I hadn't seen a white kangaroo since my Grandfather had one at his wildlife park on the Gold Coast. It was great to see more
It's a good experience. Rare species to find. Don't miss the park while you are going to Adelaide. 275 KM before Adelaide.
Really cool and free! Fencing was fairly damaged I’m assuming from people breaking in. Sad. Worth a look if you’re in the area
Very interesting experience. White kangaroos were in the back. There are parking space though when we went there they were all in the back. So if you can’t see them around the car park area don’t give up go around the fence, you’ll find about 10 white kangaroos.
There’s no entrance fee, it’s free!
Easy access from freeway,
No entry fee
No hard time looking for roos
Plenty of white kangaroos
Can see peacocks
Good for kids
Gorgeous little park. A nice stroll around should take you 15 minutes, depending how much you want to watch the animals. Well kept and animals look very happy.a few car parks at the front. Thank you to the volunteers who run this wildlife park, it is wonderful to stop by.
Thrilled to see lot of white Kangaroos.need to go around the road to see as they opt out to stay away from main highway road.
A staff member was handing out Lyre Bird feathers to our Oriental friends, which absolutely blew their minds ;-)
Was really lovely experience. We saw a dead Joey though. ^^" lil matey came up to the fence. It's great because you can drive around the fence.
Good place to "catch up" with white kangaroos in their almost real like environment.
The place is facilitated with a table and water, so let say fitted for quick stopover on the VIC/SA border.
Wildlife park with kangaroos and peacocks. To have a better look at the wildlife park, follow the road and go at the back side of the park. It’s just on the Dukes highway, easily accessible.
