Wild Ginger Thai

When in Mount Gambier we treated ourselves to some some Thai food. Hands down - the BEST Pad Thai I've had outside of Thailand. Delicious!

Delicious Thai food, priced to the quality of food. Excellent service far exceeded the expectations from the lovely waitress. I will recommend anyone who visits Mount Gambier to taste their food and exceptional service.

Food is fantastic, can't fault taste, quality, quantity.
Service was poorer asked for water and ordered a glass of wine that came half way thru the meal.
We had only just placed our order when another 'regular' couple came in but we're turned away.

Food was devine, the crispy fish penang curry was to die for. The service friendly and hospitable.

One of the most delicious Thai takeaway I have had in a long long time. It was very quick and such big portions. If I ever come through Mount Gambier again I will definitely eat here again.

We tried this place after staying in Mount Gambier overnight.
Fantastic experience. The wait staff were super friendly and great at recommending dishes. We had a stir fry and Barramundi fish with rice. The fish dish was amazing, it’s is recommended by the chef and well worthy of being the top pick.
Resturant is cleans and ambient is cozy. Highly recommended.

This Thai restaurant has really good staff but i have made it 3 stars because today i waited a whole 3 hours for 1 dish to even come to my table. I understand that there was a lack of staff but i waited half an hour for FRIED ICE CREAM

Flash restaurant. Price's over the top order 15 minutes late $11.95 ×2, satay sticks chicken? Not even close to real Thai.give themselves good-look hire 4 ozzy girls then Ozzie's at table pay the$$$. Case of pray on Sunday Monday. Pinch rest of week.better value up the road.

Good menu selection. Food was good. Friendly staff and food was ready in the time they said it would be for pick-up. Recommend making a booking first as it is a busy place.

The food here was spectacular. The place was packed in a Tuesday evening and I can see why. The staff were super friendly and the service was very quick despite being so busy. If you’re stopping by mount gambier I’d highly recommend this place.

Lovely food with some amazing flavour. Wish we were locals so we could explore the rest of the menu. Will keep this one on the list for our next visit

Sometimes I just need a break. Food is excellent. I should treat myself more often! Picked my own food up. Easy really. AND plenty left for another meal! Give yourself a break too! And enjoy!

Came here after reading positive reviews. For the most part, a good experience. I think the waiter was a bit intense with the new trainee, but was very attentive. It lost 2 stars because my GOD was the thai basil stir fry extremely salty! My mum and I both felt our mouths were shrivelling from the saltiness. I can tell it would have been REALLY tasty if they just relaxed on the salt, which is unfortunate! The rice pudding was good though, not too sweet, good enough serving size to share between 3 people. We ordered an entree (curry samosas- didn't really taste like curry), as well as a pad see ew which was ok.

We had come on the recommendation of a friend and the pace was busy so we were expecting good things. There were elements of our dishes that were very good but we probably have high expectations based on our usual.

Nice service, very kind waiter. I order a red Thai curry doesnt come with rice it cost $23 + $4for the rice which I don't mine, but what they gave me is a container full of veggies and 6 pieces of beef. Tastes ok not spicy at all which they stated spicy on the menu, eat able but not the best I had. $23 I expect a little bit more meat in there or a good favor. If you want to try you can give it a go but don't expect too much. But I don't think I will go again.

Surprisingly Delightful
Being vegetarian, it's hard to find good food in such a small town but the service and the food was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit if you are there.
