38 We Have Friends with a Yacht, Looking towards the park, & it's a Wonderful place for Relaxing with Friends.
Spent New Year ️ Eve on the Yacht & it as a Wonderful Atmosphere ️
This park is rock'n'roll. Literally. I was here for my 40th and there was a rock'n'roll revival there. Cars. Music. Dancing. And guys and gals dressed up to the 9s in 50s kit. I even brought a shirt, which I still love (my Tiki shirt).
Playground with only a beautiful view, it's in a fantastic location - near Glenelg Marina where you can find a huge range of places to eat and drink. The incaire toilets are fantastic, bbq facilities are certainly welcome and plenty of grass around. The tram kiosk nearby and bakery across the road are fantastic spots for a quick bite and drink too.
Beautiful Park with a Tram Cafe and the beach not far at all, perfect pitstop to relax and recoup before travelling off again
Jus avoid the spinning thing. Every kid that plays on it long enough ends up in tears or concussion.
Excellent area for families with kids. Stones throw from the beach with great views of the marina. Shops and lots of eating options doted around the area with some excellent coffee shops. Good run out to exhaust the kids.
This is a hoot. Most kids complaining when mums want to leave. Funny (and sad) to watch. Fun for the kids jym for the adults and cafe next door for the rest
Should be more of a better covering for play area than what is. On 30 degree days needs more shade
Awesome park located om the way to the foreshore. Be sure to take the kids there first to start their adventure at what feels like the new magic mountain!
Lovely for family and kids. Playground, BBQ, parking, toilets and best of all, a massive plot of clean cut green grass with water views.
Great spot for family and friends to kick the ball around on the oval or have a picnic.
Playground has a lot of different activities for children to enjoy.
There's also a fitness exercise station for those that would like to have a work out with a fountain close by for water.
A beautiful spot to sit and relax, we got to see a dolphin and the kids absolutely loved the playground:)
A big green area great to play with kids or play some game. They have a new playground as well.it is not fenced but is well far from the road. The play ground is big and nice but nothing really special.but is a nice space by the marina with great views.not good for parties since is not fenced and there is not a lot os shade
I have been to Wigley Reserve a fair few times to exercise with a personal trainer! Always a nice place whether it's warm or cold, really thankful for the toilets and the convenient train cafe nearby.
Loved it for a Family Day out plenty of things for the kids and adults to use only downside wound be lack of shade in summer
This is a superb place to go. There are apparatuses for children and for adults. My grandson who is 8 thoroughly enjoyed himself as did I, his 78 year old grandfather. I really enjoyed the apparatuses provided for the adults and will return again as soon as the rain subsides. Congratulations to the Council for this first class faculty.
You do need to pay for parking at a free park so think what you will. It's well maintained, walking distance to jetty and it's next to a marina. Has a big playground and automatic public restrooms. Good place for a picnic. Public events like car shows often held there.
I was expecting yet another disappointing nature playground. This one is actually fun though! My 6 and 13yos entertained themselves here for an hour and would have stayed longer had time permitted.
I tend to avoid Glenelg like the plague but would return to this playground.
Excellent reserve. Interactive and interesting playground. Good exercise area. Undercover bbq facilities, clean toilets and lots of grass space. Very well maintained and clean.
