Whyalla Caravan Park

What an amazing find. This park is spotless, spacious and has a fully fenced dog exercise area. Really wish there were more parks around like this one.

Our car broke down out of town after hours and these absolute legends gave us a room and we were able to have our pets.
Couldn't recommend staying here highly enough

Absolutely one of the best and after being on the road for 15 years we can spot the great ones. Under new ownership the park has undergone many changes, all for the better. The grounds are immaculate with lots of nice shady spots to just sit and relax. There is 2 camp kitchens which is handy for all types of weather. The amenities are immaculate and cleaned several times a day, well done to the cleaners that have a eye for detail. There is a playground to keep the kids occupied, and best of all there is a top notch dog off leash area to keep the furry kids busy, they put so much thought into this area your dog wont want to leave. They have sites to suit from the smallest tent to the largest of big rigs with lots of space to park and move around. The park feels very secure with great lighting at night and you never feel worried going out and leaving your van. The park is very quiet, relaxing and peaceful.and all this for one of the most affordable prices we have come across. Steve and Tania go out of their way to make your stay perfect, they are happy and friendly and very helpful and often have free camp kitchen bbq's for anyone that want to get together with other guests, Amy and Tyson are great additions to the team.
If you are in the area or passing through do yourself a favour and stay at the whyalla caravan and tourist park, whether it be a long or short stay, you will not be disappointed.

Honestly the rudest people I’ve ever had to deal with. Booked a room and then Had to cancel it many hours later due to loosing a family member. Tried to explain my situation and was told by the owner Steve “well she shouldn’t have deteriorated quick enough if she was in hospital” and using the most foulest language ever!

Also trying to find out about getting my money back and being told by the wife that she didn’t want to deal me for third time and she couldn’t be bothered explaining it.

Absolutely disgraceful especially going through a rough time loosing a family member, I should have never been spoken to in anyway that I did!
Go ahead and waste your money on a business that loves to be disrespectful to there customers.

Stay as far away as you can from this facility. Owner Steve is as rude as you come by. Rang this morning looking for a last minute room due to a family member dying. Family member deteriorated and passed away quickly, tried to ring facility regarding cancelling the booking less than 5hrs later to be met by swearing, threats and snide comments about my dead relative by the owner. Spend your money elsewhere!

We loved staying at G’Day Whyalla Caravan Park. Really well set out, beautiful sites and extremely clean amenities! Would highly recommend.

We would reckon mend this caravan park to every one travelling to South Australia to stay and if you have a dog we reckon mend it as your dogs are also welcome and they have a puppy play ground absolutely beautifully sent up. ALSO THE STAFF at the caravan park very helpful and very, very friendly. I would give them 300 per cent and higher great caravan park and quite. Also the park is very and the amenities are also have a bath and the showers are out of this world. ENJOY YOUR STAY THERE AND REASONALY PRICED.

The park is a credit to Steve and Tanya and their hard working crew. The park was spotlessly clean and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Large drive thru sites and we really appreciated the dog park. Wish more parks had this initiative. Loved the concrete area around the clothes lines.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. All facilities were above average and it's so peaceful there.

Out of town but quiet and a short drive from a main shopping centre. Plenty to do in whyalla, steelworks tour hmas whyalla tour. Short drive to lots of places. We'll worth the stay.

Easy drive through for vans staying overnight. Amenities were great - very clean and well kept. No Highway noise. Would definitely stay here again.

A local food van showed up with awesome curries. We got to relax, refresh and prepare our van to continue our adventures.

Great small park, close to everything we needed. The park owners were extra friendly and helpful, the park Is immaculate. Facilities were spotless, the site was generous for our big caravan. Their rates are very reasonable, the cheapest we have come across. We would recommend

Great spot, not too far out of town but nice and quite. Cabins great, reasonably priced and very clean. Usually in a camper trailer and took notice of those facilities, large, flat, drive through sites. Camp kitchen, large, clean and well stocked. Toilet & showers clean as is laundry. Owners were lovely and very helpful. If in the area you won’t be sorry to try this place.

I was on a powered site. The campsite was perfect. The staff beyond awesome. Would I stay here again. In a heartbeat. They even had a doggies play area. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. It was all booked out

This caravan park has been exceptionally presented. Very clean and well laid out. The buildings look new. Toilets and showers very clean. Showers have good pressure and nice and hot.

Ŕeally enjoyed òur stay here. À very clean and Organised park. Owners are frièndly ànd hard working operators. We would definitely be coming back.

Extremely clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds, we broke 2 glasses in cabin by accident but they didn’t charge us. Recommended.

The new owners have done a great job. Beautiful park. Roomy sites and great amenities. Friendly owners and would definitely recommend staying.
