Whitmore Square / Iparrityi reviews
17Beautiful park for just walking on a chill sunny day or walking the dog. There are waste bags equipped for most of the public trash bins so no worries if you forgot to bring your own, your little friend can still have fun without you worrying about them making a mess!
Great park to catch some sun, or rest under a shady tree. Well maintained gardens, even has a defibrillator, in case your cholesterol catches up with u! Has public toilets and great drinking fountain
Nice casual relaxing atmosphere, basketball court, table tennis table, picnic tables, what more could you want?
Highly recommend checking out this park!
One of five square in Adelaide. I think a redevelopment project is needed to make this park more lively. This park is a bit flat because of the absence of landmark, no theme and lack of vegetation planted.
Too many drunken, violent, destructive “traditional owners” gather here day and night to cause mayhem and destroy the beauty. Very sad for the residents who have to suffer this filth.
Whitmore Square is still going through a council beautification process. Let’s hope it can help to change things.
A nice park. You can see possums at night time.
The only issue is the amount of homeless people staying at the park at night and during the day.
It is a little scary walking through the park at night time, there are often large groups of people playing music and drinking alcohol. We didn't feel safe so ended up having to walk on the outskirts.
Are you a lucky little lady in the city of light
Or just another lost angel, city of night
City of night, city of night, city of night, woo, come on.

Good grassed Park in Adelaide city's SW corner. It currently being upgraded. Its a local indigenous meeting area. It's a safe park with growing local amenities and delicious food from cafes close by
Whitmore square isn't a safe place. Unfortunately full of aboriginal people drinking and fighting.
I didn't mind sitting in the park having my lunch. But unfortunately there is a group of people who are sitting in a group being very loud. Other wise l enjoyed watching the world go by.
It's a nice place at daytime but it's dangerous here after sunset. Be really careful for some stupid homelessness ppl, they might attack you for no reason.
This is my usual parking place if I go to the city. Facility isn't bad, although I have seen some homeless people gathering around at night.
Otherwise known as ‘Drinkmore Square’ this park has the potential to be nice with its amenities and access to a basketball course but it’s always a bit sketchy with drunks. I used to ride through there every night and would constantly have aboriginals lunge or scream at me. During the day it’s not as bad but I’d still keep my head on a swivel.
I love Whitmore square it's famouse or infamouse. I've been going there since I first arrived in Adelaide in 1990 thirty years ago. The Square has chAnged a lot since 1990. Thirty year can you believe it?
Lots of drug taking in the toilet i waited 10 minutes to see someone a sleep on the floor when the door opened
Beutiful park, aboriginal non smoking day held, so I gave up for better fresh air from the tree's.
Very dodgy people in this park, tools were stolen from our work truck. People were screaming at each other. I wouldn't go to this place alone.
