Absolutely appalling service! I went in today seeking for help with my leg injury and the nurse there at reception kept interrupting me, treated me like I wasn't worth being listened to, took one glance at my band aid, and just walked around back to the desk and said she will get a dr from my local GP to call me in 5 minutes. To call me, a Deaf person! That's an act of audism by the way.
It actually needed to be looked at properly, and I was stuck in a hot car with a leaking band aid and not hearing from a doctor for over TWO HOURS. IN A HOT CAR. I felt so ignored as a patient and person, and to top it off, the dr that was trying to contact me is a dr I did NOT want to seek help from because they have been discriminating and were wrong about a few things which needed to be fixed elsewhere. The nurse insisted it's not the doctor, but it was the very same dr. Absolutely disgusting. What if it was an older person? Or a person with far more special needs?
Brazen liars who offer you an appointment over the phone, then turn you away when you arrive. Given the lack of walk-in options now aside from ED, our state’s emergency services need an overhaul starting with this joint!
“Walk In’s” are NOT welcome! We got turned away and told there are extended wait times and would have needed to call ahead and make an appointment! What? Why advertise that you can walk in with no appointment needed? Absolute joke of a place so I just wouldn’t bother wasting your time.
Absolutely lovely stuff, very dedicated and hard working. Saved me from having a long wait in a hospital emergency department for a couple of stitches.
