We recommend you to book ahead and go there without any hesitation. We thought it was far and it will be disappointing but it turned out to be one of the best cabins and services.
Camp kitchen was completed with big cooking facilities & full with kitchen utensils & cutlery. Wood fire in the kitchen.
The lady at the service desk and on the phone was very friendly. We got a good spot for our car and tents. The amenities were clean. We loved the big the kitchen and the possibility to light up a fire in the common room.
The camping ground is a great place to stay if you are just for two or three days on the island as you pass it after your half way around the island. It is also close to the Flinders Chase Nationalpark.
There are beautiful wildlife animals on the campingground as well.
We paid $30 per night for a unpowered spot in August.
What a great spot to spend a few days. The grounds are lovely and green, I must congratulate all the staff involved.
Just a wonderful place. The starry sky is great at night and during the day you have kangaroos, hen geese, parrots and koalas right on your doorstep! There are nice walks there. We were very happy.
Beautiful, quiet place to camp lot's of wildlife up close. The camp kitchen is next level and staff are friendly and helpful.
Lovely green tent/caravan sites amongst trees and bushes with plenty of wildlife. Great camp kitchen and facilities and friendly and helpful staff
So friendly, beautiful, and peaceful. Koalas in the trees, kangaroos in the field, and minutes from Flinders Chase National Park. Highly recommend!
We arrived late so didn't get to see the management/owners. Amenities are clean large camp kitchen but we were put in dongas, not the ensuite cabin we thought we had hired
Amazing 4 night stay and all staff were incredibly helpful and wonderful. Good facilities and was close to most attractions on K. I. Saw 5 koalas on our site each night.
We had a brilliant 4 night stay at Western KI caravan park. Great location to explore the far end of the island. Staff were super friendly. There is a shop at reception which was well stocked. Fuel is available also. We got to see and hear so many koalas which was exciting and great for the kids.
This is a really good camping g slot with good facilities. Koalas grazing in the trees are a bonus.
Stayed 7 nights, relaxing and peaceful despite peak season. Enjoyed every minute. Geese, sheep, kangaroos, koalas, wallaby and galahs surround you. Very close to flinders chase national park, my advice is to get down early to the main attractions before the tour buses arrive.
Spectacular camp ground. Good facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Wildlife prolific around the park
We stayed 5 days at this campesite and it is lovely. You will see a lot of Kangaroos and Koalas. There is also a little shop.
A great place with good facilities and you can't miss seeing load of roos and koalas. Would highly recommend
The camp kitchen is so great and clean, has everything and so spacious. Shower and toilet are clean. So many animals around, wild koala on the tree.
Wonderful place to stay. Perfect base for walking and sight seeing. Fiona and Mark are great hosts.
