Western Care Support

I am a parent of a western care client who will only accept quality care with maximum client choice & control. I have found this with western care.
Western care management, particularly the team leader, are very accommodating with assisting clients to live their best lives by prioritising the clients preferences.
When support workers cannot be mentored successfully by the experienced team leader to uphold the quality standards of care required by families, those support workers are then deemed not a good fit.
Families ask for these unsuitable workers to be removed from working with their loved ones. This is their right regarding choice & control as stated in the Ndis legislation.
As a family member I have exercised this choice & control and have had poor quality workers removed.
These workers sadly think quality care is to speak a foreign language or watch a foreign film whilst on shift is appropriate care.
I’m so very fortunate to have a provider such as western care, who work closely with families to protect our vulnerable loved ones from unscrupulous support workers who think support work is for their own benefit and not the clients.
I Thoroughly recommend this provider, management and especially the team leader for their commitment to their clients. As it should be.
