Went to play at the Driving Range and was overall disappointed with the attitude of the serving staff, opting for club hire but was only given a set of irons to play with, and no Drivers.

Upon asking why, I was informed that 'newcomers break them too often'. What a way to introduce and deter new people from fully enjoying the Range itself.

Upon asking when this supposed 'rule' was introduced, I was quite snarkishly told 'years ago'.

I'd been here a few times before and didn't recall it being the case? I'd love to be corrected, but even then my previous point stands in detracting from the player experience.

It's a nice facility, and the added displays are decently fun. I was just very off-put by some of the staff's attitude.

Nice course. Very slow play constantly waiting for four groups on a tee. Always over booked

Far too slow and seems to be no marshalling of the course or concern that 5 hour rounds are the norm here.

Fun course but waaaay too slow without any active pace management from the pro shop. 5.5 hour game with up to 4 groups on a tee at times.

Course is fine - 6 hours for a round is not, overbooked despite what the website will show.

All good at WBPGs Practice Areas.
Driving, chipping, bunkering available, well as a big putting area.

Both courses are a good test of your game. Good layout. Greens are usually well kept. Not all golfers repair their pitch marks though. The front of the 8th and the 17th usually have unrepaired pitch marks littered on them. The sand is minimal and very compacted in the bunkers. Aside from those things it's a good course.

Awesome day of golf at the Pat which from the pro shop, practice fairway and course itself all wrapped up to be an overall fantastic experience and great value for money.

The 18 hole south course is always a great public course to play at, well maintained greens with friendly staff members to top it off.

Good set up with excellent facilities. Driving range has 16 bays with fake grass mats and rubber tees. No shade however. Nice to have a putting green as well to practice on after hitting at the driving range.

Great public course. Well maintained, great to play and fantastic practice facilities. Just remember it is a public course and can be slower to get around depending on who is playing that day.

Well maintained, great fairways and challenging greens with interesting pin placements and undulating surfaces in good nick

A great facility all round. We played the 15 hole executive course. The greens are well kept and are fast. A little dew helped slow them down. The longer holes can be challenging as most of them are accompanied by water running the entire length waiting to devour your wayward slice. A good walk, some of the bush is thick and will also swallow a ball easily. Par 3s are a good length, not too small. I would be curious to see this course in the height of summer. I bet the greens turn to lightning. Played as a pair. Just over 2 hours to get around. 5.5km in total.

Course is nice enough and decent when you can get on when it’s quiet.
Majority of the time the pace of play makes it horrible to play. 5+ hour rounds aren’t uncommon at all.

Fairly easy course (as long as you stay out of the thickets), full of hacker's divots, greens awash with unflattened pitch marks and look forward to a bloody slow round as many hackers get on this one and have no idea what they're doing - and no etiquette either. Having said that, on a quiet day, it's and enjoyable course and they let you bring your own cart!

Good golf course, it is not the most pristine of courses but good. There is two choices of course, a short course and the full course. The full course is much better, it is just maintained better but if you are short on time the short course is a good option. There is a mix of wide fairways, scrub and water so some holes are quite easy and others are tougher. Think it is a good course for newer players as it can be very forgiving in many areas but still tough enough to make it fun for seasoned players. Worth a shot

Fantastic course, well maintained fairways and greens, plenty of bunkers. Quite busy so best to book ahead.

Nice course, however outrageous wait times throughout the entire duration of play. Don’t bother making a booking, it makes no difference. 5 hours to play a round of golf. I’d rather watch the whole series of Big Bang Theory than go through that pain again.

Really enjoyed playing here. The course was in good condition. Par 72 and fairly forgiving. I played 18 holes in the evening and went back the following morning and played the back 9. I was in Adelaide for a few days on business so hired a set of clubs. The clubs were good quality and didnt miss my own clubs to much. Well worth a visit.

Very ordinary experience. Don't recommend and we won't be back again.
Called days in advance, booked for 6. Day comes we rocked up, got our bags and eskies searched, paid, got given the wrong score cards, started playing. 2 holes in had some young staff member rock up and say this is our first and last warning if we are seen as a 6 again we'll be kicked off in a very threatening tone. 3ven though the on 2 people behind we let hit through immediately. (Who still got stuck behind the people infront anyway) He tried to tell me that upon placing the booking for 6 people I would of been told we couldn't play all at once. I said this was never said to us either at the time of booking or during paying. He didn't believe me said he was just warning us this is the first and last time he'll say it. He then proceeded to "check up" on us every couple holes which was extremely annoying. I dont recommend playing at West Beach.
