West Beach reviews
26The beach is really good, nice and calm with clear water but there are no public bathrooms or changing rooms so this makes it a bit difficult after swimming.
Always beautiful, plenty of free parking, disability parking near Public Toilets. OTR and Foodland near by.
Live in the area and love this beach, can't stay away even in the middle of winter. Quieter than Glenelg or Henley due to the absence of cafes, restaurants and shops. PSA: Don't walk/slide in the dunes - you're damaging the environment doing so!
Nice lovely quiet sandy beach, Cafe at Henley sailing club, pkayground, exercise equipment, public toilets and lots of parking.
Such a beautiful beach to visit in morning and evening. Beautiful sunsets to watch. Dog friendly.
Beautiful as always, and very clean. Watch out there was a dog on leash patrol car out there today.
It's a very nice and peaceful beach! You can walk along the beach. And it would be good if you take a walk along the sea upto Henley beach. It's a nice experience.
Excellent place to stay and enjoy the experience of the area and beach and plenty to do with in the park grounds
Not much to do compared to the beaches down south. Especially since the West Beach Surf Lifesaving Clubhouse has been demolished.
1st time to this one, but was nice.
Had fun looking at the shells, stones and different seaweeds.
Sand and water very clean.no rubbish anywhere.
Met a couple of friendly dogs and their friendly people.
It's a great walk and is not normally as busy as Henley beach so a good option if you fancy a bit of peace and quiet while taking in the awesome views towards Glenelg.
Lovely swim. Toilets close by. A couple (most people great) annoying people with dogs off the leash. Will they wee on my bags when I'm in the water? Why do they think this is ok? ! It's not a dog beach. Every other dog on a leash. Another annoying father hassling his daughter, not his son same age.
Great place for a walk with a dog. On a lead or without it depends on the time of day and crowdiness.
Also relaxing and enjoyable before sunset.
West Beach is one of the nearest beaches to Adelaide City. The scenery here is beautiful and prosperous. Suitable for swimming, surfing, sailing, running, vacation and so on. Parking is very convenient. The public toilet is nearby.
I love swimming at West Beach. Most of the time it is not too crowded. The water at this time of year is warmer. I always bring my dog on a leash and she loves it too. Go to the West Beach Surf life saving club and have a cool drink
As beautiful as it gets a peaceful beach.ample parking space and a playground area for kids with swings and slides
I often grab a Peper beef pie from Skala bakery around the corner on West Beach rd & head to the beach, sit on the wall & take in the sunshine, fresh sea air & leave feeling relaxed.
Love this beach. So private and beautiful. You can see some cheeky pelicans standing next to people fishing.
Love the scenery, beach and park. The view to the River Torrens Outlet and the view to the linear park from the bridge takes my breath away. Simply one of the best places in Adelaide.
