Wendy's

Arrived at 4.10pm. Store was listed to be open until 4.30pm. I checked with the 2 young staff if they where open they both confirmed they where. My husband expained he would run to the car quickly to get our 2 other firends orders and be back. While i was reading the menu and waiting for him to return (he took 2 minuets) the older female who looked to be the manager pushed between the 2 young girls yelled at them and told me to " hurry up then we are closed". I explained the situation to her and she refused to serve me and continued to yell at the 2 other staff for serving me.

I cant believe the treatment of her own staff let alone a customer. They missed out on a 4 person order with 4 drinks and 4 hot dogs. I will not be returning. Hopefully the 2 young girls are treated better in future.

I have had hit n miss when i come here but i have not had any bad Experience at all staff are always friendly

Horrible, as mentioned by another reviewer, when I was a kid I had amazing memories of Wendy's.this exact store.

We decided to give it a go today.we did some time ago, I cant recall our experience. I dont think it was great.

I ordered a hot dog with cream cheese and garlic butter only for my wife.
I got home (3 minutes away) it was cold, had grated cheese and the roll would tear when touched.

I ordered the loaded hot dog.bacon was almost non existent and cold, onion was the same.it was cold and same story with the roll.

Finally, 'iced latte' or so they call it.
$8.90 i think it was.for a small
it was simply ice, coffe syrup and milk.that is a coffee milkshake.not an iced latte.

Service was average.at best.you would think that a store which has had the same owners for a long time that only make hot dogs and milk shakes would at least be good at it.

Regularly shop at that plaza, we always think/give Wendy's there 'just one more try! ' The service there is bad. Could be 3 people waiting, no one is being served instead the elderly lady worker is always pottering around but never pays attention to customers. The man is slow at serving as well. So many times do we see people give up and walk away. Lost service for you guys cmon.

Unfortunately, a terrible place for teens to work. They mistreat them and unfairly pay them. Such a shame.

Poor service. Maybe they need to take the masks off to see who’s waiting for service! Waited 10 mins to be served, only for staff to serve those right in front of them! Left without anything

Ordered a coffee and a don't the other week.coffee was alright (nothing special) but the don't was pulled from the fridge a d microwaved in front of me haha couldn't believe it.gave them one last try today ordering a coffee and I basically got a warm water with a scent of coffee to it.fairly gross

The worst hotdog in history. For 10 bucks u expect a decent hot dog but no. Took 10 mins to make, soggy bun raw bacon and asked for no onion but guess what, it had onion. Never will return to them. I was left angry and disappointed as all I got for my 10 buck was a bloody sausage

How Disgusting. I ordered 3 hotdogs & 3 mega shakes which cost me $42, which is a total rip off. They didn’t have any sausages ready the guy legit heated them up in the microwave, which the sausages were inedible! The buns and sausage were rock hard and tasted funky. The shakes were a total let down. No flavour, we got different flavours and they tasted the exact same and as if they were off. No ice cream at all nor were there any toppings. The girl didn’t even know how to make it, which the guy wouldn’t even help her.

Customer service was non existent. The girl just look at me like a zombie didn’t say a single word. I’ll never go back I’d rather be let down by maccas, at least it’s cheaper

Milkshake tasted like melted ice-cream, don't recommend at all unless your getting ice cream then thats fine but the old dude kinda creepy

I ordered cinnamon donuts as a treat and they heated up old donuts from a bag in the fridge. I could have bought some of that quality from Coles next door for half the price.

We also bought two hot dogs, I had to throw mine out, it was gross. My son didn't finish his either.

Such a shame, Wendy's used to be great. I will avoid this little store in future.

I am shocked with the customer service it was non existent she would not say a thing and she was just staring at me and I ordered 3 hot dogs that were disgusting the sausage was as hard as a rock and the bread was crusty and old I also got 3 mega shakes 2 chocolate and I cookies and cream they all tasted the same and in general I will never go there again

Gawler wendys everytime. They need to be banned from using sauce bottles.

I ask for a "tiny bit" of sauce. Half the fackin bottle goes in there.

Very upset and disappointed in Wendy’s as I went in and asked for a hotdog with cheese and sauce and when I got to the car and looked at it the top of it was covered in sauce and then when I pulled it out the roll was in half and all the cheese was on the bottom and the roll wasn’t even a normal roll that Wendy’s uses it was a normal hotdog roll from col a that you’d buy for hotdogs at home, I could’ve done a way better job at making this hotdog, not worth it tbh very disappointing

Used water out of coffee spout to make my tea. $5.40 plus. 20c surcharge. Usually tea is cheaper than a coffee. Not made of milk like coffee. Young girl new obviously, but given no help. Disappointing.

Not bad range, But very inconvenient when you want to pay by card, So much under you will get slugged extra", For example $7.10 will cost you $7.30 because you use Eftpos this sort of thing can't keep happening if we move into a world of a cashless society.

A popular cafe with lovely staff who serve everyone promptly and their coffee and meals are great. Have been going there since they first opened when I was working and now when retired.

I had this beautiful memory of the Wendy's crunchy milk shake from my childhood. Today I went to Gawler Wendy's to relive a little and to my utter sadness they were terrible, my shake wasn't mixed, just syrup at the bottom and ice cream on top and to my absolute dismay there was no crushed crunchy bits.
I don't wanna be melodramatic and say my day wasn't ruined but it was.
