Wehl St Homestyle Bakery reviews
30Really good and common style bakery, food tasted great and in good quality the only downfall was there limited selection of pastries, it costed $6 for the meat pie, I loved the pie packaging though, honestly 4 1/2 Stars from me, and the skating area's and park behind the shop is awesome too.
Homestyle is consistent, always fresh and tasty, so many things to try in the cake fridge. The line up is proof the store is popular, plenty of staff for quick service.
Straight from my husband’s mouth “that must have be the best pie that I’ve ever had! (Bushman’s Pie). Lovely cakes, I particularly enjoyed the apple cream pie and cream and jam donut. As a tourist I love finding gems like this.
Pies were delicious. The menu needs pricing on the wall as I was quite surprised at the total for our bill after ordering for our family how much it added up to. Seemed expensive for what we got.
Not disappointed with the quality. Just something as simple as prices on the menu board would really help budget conscious families decide what they can afford before the bill adds up.
Shocking customer service. These is zero order to which they server there customers. Staff were rude about this when I questions it. I also ordered a Cornish pasty which was fresh out the oven was far from hot. I've eaten hotter things out a fridge. Will never be back again.
Was disappointed that there were no chocolate eclairs. So I purchased a cherry pie instead.
YUMMO
Yum Yum yummy. Haven't been there since it was Littles bakery, the pie, pastie & bum were as yummy as I remember. No change is quality of food.keep it up
I’ve been there twice and both times the lady serving was unpleasant and rude, was totally uncomfortable, absolutely love there food but service is terrible!
Love this bakery.right next to the rail lands too, so great place to chill out while eating lunch.
Meh. Bit thin on meat for the price of the meat pie. Didn't eat anything else although they looked good
Beautiful pies and rolls.
Be aware though, don’t be running late.
The app says they close at 2: 30pm.
Wrong!
Closes at 2pm.
Great cheese pasties the best in town by far.very nice donuts!
They have eftpos. They don't open early like most bakeries.
Arriving early in the morning you can smell the freshly made pastries and bread. There is plenty of parking. If you like sleeping in and decide to arrive just before midday be prepared to wait in line as the queue snakes out the door into the car park.
There are a few table and chairs outside to eat or you can take a short walk to the local park. Either way you will not be disappointed.

So good! Great range and really friendly staff. Large off street carpark. We will be going back.
Loved my cream doughnut.
My partner really enjoyed their pasty and pie. I had a slight issue with the menu, thinking the cheese pasty would indeed be cheese. Turns out it was meat and cheese. As a vegetarian, I was in for a nasty shock when I bit in. I should of asked first but also cheese and meat would be a better description.
Great old fashioned pies & pasties. I love the vegetarian pasty. They also make a great range of sandwiches or rolls to your liking, and of course the sweets. I love the pineapple tart. You can also buy a loaf of bread whilst there.
Good pies. Well cooked and nice and hot. Took our lunch up to the Blue Lake lookout. Bit underwhelmed by the size of the slices when we opened the bag.
Tried other bakery's in the district and had been very disappointed. This has to be the nices, very nice cheese pasties and the mushroom pie was great. Will go there from now on.
