Weeroona Bay Football Club reviews
26What a great facility offered by the WFC. Only 14 spots reverse-in avail so don't arrive later than 6pm as the caretaker is firm on not accepting any more than 14 on-site. Access to a unisex WC and shower. Several washing lines for use and the gravel area is generous for turning even the biggest rig. Recycling and rubbish bins provided. $10 per van pn. Pop into the club bar for a drink - you are most welcome.
Great caravan park, well designed with lovely spacious sites. Wonderful volunteers who take care of the site. Would definitely recommend for fully self contained campers.
Great camp. Level, spacious, bins. Had a happy our round a wonderful fire with snacks - thanks Kay & Ray
We used the van parking area for an overnight stay. The club is a very small cosy place with friendly people. Highly recommend the rest area.
Great little overnighter. The caretaker lady is salt of the earth, helpful, friendly and tops it off with a complimentary pack of Anzac cookies.
For $10 a night, this wasn't a bad stop. Caretakers are a friendly crew and allowed us to drop out grey water into the garden to try and rejuvenate it after the dry weather they've had.
Profits from the recycling bin go back into the community, was a good excuse to sink a few tins to contribute.
Wonderful place to pull up in the caravan, have to be self sufficient I think it's $10 a night.
Food was cooked perfect and for $15.00 a meal, it is very good value Will definitely be going back for a meal sometime soon
Stayed here for 1 night in the camp ground. The groundsman was very polite and we had a good chat
High chair was covered in what ever the child before had. Had to use half a pack of wipes to clean the tray and seat.
Prices were good.
Everyone else said they enjoyed there meals including the beef snitzle which I had but mine had a weird tinny taste. The chips were nice and the salad bars was well stocked and all food in there was good.
Basic facilities in RV camp with 1 toilet but great meals at football club right next door.
Awesome spot to park in your caravan when visiting Whyalla, friendly & easy check-in, close to shops & very quiet. Doggo's loved playing on the oval. Happy to support local clubs, thanks all
We don't have our own toilet in our caravan. One toilet there wasn't enough. That's my only rant. I would give the place five stars for cleanliness and very organised care taker.
Groups of people go to the club to eat or party. I hear the food is good and well the lights and sounds tell me it's fun.
It's also a good place to have a solitudinal workout and watch the kangaroos hop across the field. The Kangaroos come in to drink some of the water thanks to the caretaker that was only aiming to look after the grass:). Have seen the emus down here too. This is what I do.
Great little place to stop and stock up before you head off the grid to the secret spots of the peninsula. Water and dump point around the corner. This place has no wayer or power but safe clean and an oval behind to run the hounds
Also has a RV camp for self contained vehicles $10pn. Care takers keep an eye on things. Toilets and allocated gravel sites. Club house has meals on Thursday nights. Water and dump point located in town
Well set out camp here and well run. Friendly people and very clean. We will definitely be returning.
The Weeroona bay football club is a great place to visit for a meal while you are travelling through, very hostpitable and make you feel welcome
Lovely camping site. Only $10 per night, toilet available. Suitable for short stay due to no shower on premises but there is a free hot shower in town. How awesome! There is a football club bar where we enjoyed nice beer and good laugh with amazing locals. You must pop in. Fantastic place, thank you Whyalla! ️
