Waters Burra Bakery reviews
37 The food is good.
But everyone working there looks like they've just returned from a funeral, very sad looking people. No smiles. And the customer service was even more depressing.
I do enjoy the food at Waters Bakery but the service is not as good. It seems that the younger staff need better training. Or more training.
My Pepper Pie was as usual, very good. But the lady must have put her Tongs through its base so that as I sat outside at their heart tables, the insides started to ooze out so it was making a mess. I loved the custard slice.
I'm not saying don't go there because the food is really good, just maybe complain if you're not happy as I should have, so management know.
If travelling along the Goyder highway, drop into the Burra bakery and say hi to the staff. I would say they make the best sausage roll I have ever eaten. My travelling partner declared the same about the potato pie they selected.
Delicious Cornish pastie, bushman’s pie was just as good. Almond cappuccino was hot and creamy! Vanilla slices were to die for
We had an absolutely fantastic cornish pasty and steak and mushroom pie? So good we went back to take some home. Highly recommend.
The place in Burra to get your Cornish pasties. I topped my pastie off with a delicious coffee. The lady serving us was friendly and very informative. This was a delightful break on our trip to Adelaide
Good spot for a lunch stop on a day's motorbike ride. Good Pies, breads look awesome but haven't tried yet
Great classic country bakery great food and prices worth stop and looking around town with a pie in one hand
The Cornish pastie was good however the suasage roll a bit dry. Made up for it with the cream bun.
This bakery had not been advised they we receiving a bus trip. Had an hour to prepare for 37 of us. Bread was lovely and the sandwiches were excellent. Nice cake afterward. All made on oremises.
Quite busy when we visited. It seems that many usual items were unavailable, so our options were more limited than we would have liked. But everything we had was delicious and the staff handled the abundance of customers well.
Lovely spot to visit, we all bought pies for lunch. My son said it was the best pastry he had ever had and I had to agree! But, for me a little too much herbs in the meat.
We dropped in to buy a loath of bread and we’re so impressed with the service and communication by the staff, I just had to head back in and grab a few pics.
The variety was awesome and the quality of the items we purchased were enjoyed thought out out trip.
I’ll be back for sure to enjoy the quality of other items real soon.
Cheers for being such wonderful people
Their sausage rolls and Cornish pasties are magnificent as was the very fresh cob bread. But most of all it was the beautiful lady that served me with an infectious smile and such friendliness, well done
Food was great. Not alot of choice but we were lucky that a new tray of tasty pies came out just in time for our order.
The entire staff are very helpful. The products are great. A really good range and old fashioned quality
Had lunch here, nice and clean, the pasties we had were ok, but we've had better. Would come again, but only if there was no other choice.
