Watermark Glenelg reviews
66As a buffet it was quality. As a la carte.can not say the same. Went for a birthday with over 10 ppl at the table and no one rated their food as great. Disappointing. Garlic prawns tastless, schnitzels, up there with worst I have ever had, the seafood basket looks like it had been frozen for a while, tasteless also.etc etc. Will not be returning.
Great Lil pub friendly young staff and good meals for price. Recommended if your down glenelg and want a little less silver serviced attitude and price then pop down here and be a little more casual then you'll fit right in here although the long Island iced Tea left a bit to be desired for the price paid wasore like orange coke
Good food. Great place to have a drink with mates, have a punt, throw some money away on the pokies or just watch the footy.
Horrible customer service, my partner and I had dinner here and his dinner came out and they completely forgot about my pizza. I had to wait 30 minutes until I finally went up to see a staff member. The boy with the man bun was beyond rude. The pizza was luke warm. Definitely don't go here!
Great front bar, great food and atmosphere, but.the wine choice is not very good, especially the sauvignon blanc.please give more choices even if it costs a bit more
The staff go out of there way to make sure your quirky little needs are meet, the facilities are excellent and the atmosphere is tremendous. Cheers guys.
Nice meal and settings. Smorgasbord but predominantly Chinese. Tag expensive for evening meal. Drinks reasonable price
Food great as always. Sweets bar best in Adelaide. Easy to eat too much. Very friendly staff and tables are cleared regularly. A must place to eat. Thsnk you Isn snd Jo.
The reputation this hotel has for food is well earned for your all you can eat buffet there was a large variety of food deserts soups and it was all very very good and the price at $34.95 for all you can eat is very good value
Good food, great variety, plates could be bigger to put more food you like.
At least you can get more exercise going back for more.
Great location but quite dirty & the bathroom was putrid. Had to buy disinfectant & clean the shower before using it. DISGUSTING
Very good buffet.nice staff.good service and good food.i have tried all the buffets in adelaide watermark is simply the best in every aspect.well done staff and the owner of the business for running it very professionally
Buffet had a great choice of food which catered to each family members taste. Desserts were fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Food is always delicious, kitchen staff work really hard. Sadly they charge $15 for a jug of post mix with all the Coca-Cola marketing, and none of the flavour. On top of their almost-$40 head charge, I find that to be a bit rich. Wait staff couldn't say one way or another whether it was real coke or a cheaper knock-off brand.
If I come back I won't bother spending anything at the bar, they probably water down the booze too. Well done kitchen!
Drinks were cheap and quickly poured, but the glasses were sticky and dirty, as were the tables. Good for a quick drink when you don't expect a super clean establishment.
Everything you would expect from a buffet restaurant. Service was good. Food was good and fresh. Range of food was good. Salad options were good. Most things were good. Nothing stood out as being amazing. Everything was just.good. One thing that wasn't so good was that the oil used to deep fry seemed to have mixed flavours in it. Eg. Chicken had a fishy flavour etc. Value for money was very good. Good place to go to get a big feed for a low price.
Food was good but sorry the turkey to me didn't really taste like anything. There was almost too much food there, it is a buffet I suppose and there were so many people there too, for me too claustrophobic.
Got into our room and we were satisfied with the cleanliness as well as the room itself. We were hoping for a beachside view for the price, but weren't too let down a whole lot, we just closed the blinds. The only downside to staying here was having a guest next door bang on our wall telling us to "keep it down" because we had the kettle going. But that's not so much The Watermarks fault as it is the rude guest nextdoor.
Terrific meal, good facilities, noisy when busy, perhaps a little expensive on Sundays but I hope that's because the staff are being paid penalty rates!
