Waterloo Bay Tourist Park

A good stopover town to slow down your pace during touring Eyre Peninsula. Good family run business. All the amenities are there and a fish clearing station.

Just a short walk to the beach. This is a pet-friendly caravan park with powered and unpowered sites, as well as drive-through sites. We had an ensuite site and got reasonable speeds on using the free wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elliston is a small country town with a great pub for evening meals.

For the moment, the Best campsite we have done.very clean, quiet and very pleasant I even slept until 11: 00 in our van.near the beach so very pretty area.there is a kitchen, toilets, bathrooms, sinks.but also a free giant trampoline for children.

Old park but well kept. Ablutions very good. Plenty of hot water. Owners very nice. Would stay again.

Beautiful grassy sites well shaded. Facilities well maintained. Walk to swimming beach with pontoon. Close to boat launch from beach.

A wonderful hidden gem. Maryanne & staff were welcoming, amenities clean, position great. Walk to store, pub & beach. Only thing, need to trim some overhanging tree branches other than that, no complaints.

Lovely shaded caravan parks. Large lawn areas, some drive through, amenities sparkling clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The worst most unhospitable welcome on arrival at 3am after driving for 15 hours. I notified reception of our late arrival and keys were left in box for us. Were towing a horse float and cabin was outside park on the road which we had no idea of. On arrival a grumpy old man was just standing there staring at us and accused us of waking everyone up. I said wow nice welcome no need for his aggressive interaction as we had a key. He should have stayed in bed.

We had a lovely stay here. Super friendly & helpful at check in. Had a lovely shaded site sheltered from any ocean winds, showers were awesome. Would stay again.

Absolutely disgusting! The owner Michael attacked my brother because his sausage dog was barking. The local police told us that Michael (owner) and his partner Maryanne have just returned to management and that there has been many problems since. They Police officer arranged for us to get into the Ellison Caravan park who where absolutely fantastic. Please AVOID THIS PARK. The owner is a full blown alcoholic and he absolutely stunk when he stormed over with a temper. Really bad experience after travelling for 10 years and had no issues.

Having travelled from Queensland over many many years to visit we have nothing but praise for the professional and friendly staff at this park. The current owners have been there for over 18 years. We witnessed the eviction which was totally justified. Michael does not consume alcohol (ever). You can be guaranteed a peaceful stay at this park with responsible dog owners.

A great stopover. Grassed sites, well equipped camp kitchens, good showers, and even a jumping pillow for the kids. The park is ideally situated in town and just a short walk to the beach, the pub, and all other shops and amenities. This is a recommended place to stay.

This is a great park. Reasonable rates, clean amenities and just a few minutes walk to the grocer, bakery and pub. And the hosts are super friendly and helpful.

We loved staying here! Lovely staff members, excellent facilities & campsites. We will definitely be back.

Nice little park, managers very nice. A bit too windy and wet on our stay, lovely winter weather, lucky the park is sheltered from the weather.

Very clean and tidy. Grassy sites. Oldish amenities but clean and showers hot and strong.
Close to bay which had lovely sunsets. Reception staff helpful and friendly.
