Waterfront Holiday Park

Beautiful caravan park overlooking the Murray, big sites, very clean amenities, pet friendly, short walk to shops.wonderful hosts. Will definitely be back.

We found this little gem in Tailem Bend. Cathy and Evan are the owners/ managers and they are the most lovely and thoughtful people I have met running a caravan park. The toilet blocks are fabulous with blueloo, toilet spray, music, large showers with large shower heads and very clean. There is a BBQ area, lots of rubbish bins and recycling cages. If you feel adventurous, there are steps or you can drive down to the banks of the mighty Murray and then walk over to Friday Island to do a spot of fishing or have a picnic. There is a large service station next door if you are needing supplies.
There are also cabins for hire if you don't have a RV. We certainly will be caming back.

Lovely park with gorgeous views. Park is being upgraded with fantastic new bathrooms, lovely garden areas with water features. Owners are very caring ensuring you have a great experience. Would certainly recommend.

Beautifully done up Park, the amenities were fab The owners/ workers were fab to, even more upgrades to be done in near future as well so we were told. Highly recommend staying in this park.

We would recommend this place to any travellers. Management and staff are friendly and come around and introduce themselves. Amenities are modern and very clean. It is a good place to stay as it is central to a lot of places to visit.

What an incredible park! We stayed here a total of 3 nights both heading to & home from the Yorke Peninsula! Sites were very large & grassy & easy to access!

The park was very, very clean & tidy & the amenities were the nicest & cleanest I’ve ever seen!

Communication was incredible! A text the day before & the morning of our stay welcoming us & confirming our check in! I was originally a bit daunted by the contactless check in but honestly it was so so easy & actually a much easier process! It’s straight forward & the park is so well signed you can’t get stuck!

Road noise from the highway was minimal- i didn’t hear it at all! The place is well fenced & very secure!

Cathy & Evan could not have been more accommodating & welcoming! From booking in, our stay to our arrival, they were fantastic! And Cathy was incredible with our young daughter letting her feed the fish!

You will find Cathy & Evan walking around the park engaging with everyone! So incredibly friendly & easy going! Nothing was a bother! Felt like we had known them forever!

This place will definitely be our go to on our travels when we pass through! We will be back!

We stayed one night in a tent. Great grassed area, plenty of space. Hotel quality ammenities. Friendly staff. Night-time was quite noisy because of trucks on adjacent highway. Beautiful view of sunset over river.

We loved our time at Tailem Bend Waterfront Holiday Park! Our huge Villa overlooking the river was amazing, beautifully styled with attention to detail, all the mod cons, very large comfy beds too. Kids had a ball on the grassy area with all the lawn games you can borrow from the camp kitchen. Staff and owners are so friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Amazing cabin, with an amazing view from the front deck. Very clean with all the comforts of home.

Loved it. Got in at last minute. Place looks amazing. Great new amenities block. Very modern. Little bit of work to be done just to top it off. Large grassed sites, great hosts. Really love the ease of checking in via touch screen. It was real simple.

We stopped for a night on the way from kangaroo island to Melbourne. We had a spacious camp site with fabulous view. The bathrooms are modern and super clean. Booking and check out system was be best I’ve ever experienced in a campsite. I

We stayed at the Waterfront Holiday Park while attending a national race meet at the nearby Bend Motorsport Park. What an amazing park. The villa we stayed in is a well appointed 3 bedroom house with heaps of space and all the comforts of home. It over looks the Murray River with a huge deck and BBQ area with amazing views. The beds, linen and towels are what you expect from an expensive motel. Could not fault our stay and the hospitality of the new owners. We will be back for sure

We booked Waterfront initially for 3 nights but after arriving we thought where do you get this much room on a site 12m x 12m we booked for I think 9 days and used as base to explore all surrounding areas. The owners were great could not do enough for you and facilities were new or upgraded. This is a park that is being improved non stop. I would imagine in a couple of years this will be a beautiful park & sought after. If we find ourselves back in the area we will stay again! Thanks for the memories.

Very clean park; bathrooms like 5 star hotel ones; digital self check in very easy for late arrivals without stressing out trying to get there before too late; very friendly and helpful; spacious sites; very good price; right on the water; lots of big trees; highly recommended.

We stopped here for a 2 day sojourn.the new owners are fixing it up and doing a terrific job.the bathrooms are modern and a joy to visit.we will return.so do yourself a favour
