Very happy with food here.although Malaysian food is always great.

Seafood Laksa, Chicken Rice, Char Kwai Teoy, they do the Malaysian classics well here.

Has become a regular haunt for me, they are fairly consistent with the quality too. The main problem I have is always deciding which of the aforementioned dishes to order.

When the food comes out I'm reminded that there are no bad options.

Excellent place to go for a tasty and affordable meal.

Had another chicken rice recently

Consistently good

Nice Malaysian/Indonesian eatery. Will go again! Thanks for a great meal. Awesome Satay too!

So disappointed with our order tonight. Even though my husband and I had ordered different meals, they both tasted the same and we both agreed that they strangely smelt like dirty dishwater. Flavour was very off! The chicken didn’t taste right, so hopefully we are not sick tomorrow!

Can’t say this is authentic or resembling Malaysian meals at all. The satay was just pieces of chicken thighs in a soy sauce like marinade, the rice that came with the satay was just normal rice, it wasn’t nasi impit/sticky square rice & the other dishes ordered tasted subpar. Couldn’t finish most of the dishes as they weren’t tasteful. The satay sauce/peanut sauce was delicious.
One dish was also missing from the order, but service was extremely friendly.

Been to Warong Parkside many times and always a good meal. Nice menu selection - I've had Singapore noodles, Hainanese chicken rice, nasi goreng and curry chicken, all been delicious. I also get food envy seeing what other tables order too. Food is always hot, fresh and served quickly. Lovely staff too!

Food is slightly better than mcdonalds and about the same price. The chicken rice was nice, but very much caps out at franchise level flavour profile. Mostly just rice, very little chicken. Thats about it. Was ok but not a whole lot for $16.

Yummy roti with beef curry. Roti was just a touch oily but that might be a personal preference.

Always quick service and ordering with the QR code provided was easy and Apple pay is supported. Food wise, if you like something spicy, go with Tomyum fried rice, ask for extra spicy! Teh tarik was yummy and not too sweet! However, the Singapore fried vermicelli was a bit too light on flavours. Couldn’t taste any curry powder which it should, please avoid ordering that. Otherwise, happy with the service received.

Disappointing laksa and beef rendang. The laksa had almost no flavour, it was like warmed up coconut milk and I ordered the veggie one hoping to get some broccoli, mushrooms etc but it was just a small amount of grated carrot and bean sprouts. The beef rendang had more flavour but the portion of beef (5 small cubes, and two small cubes of potato) was also disappointing.

Service was fast and the servers were friendly.

Absolutely love the Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang. (although it tastes like curry) but hey! Still super delicious. I also enjoyed the piping hot white coffee. Thanks for making such yummy food! Keep up the great work guys!

Serving Malaysian and Indonesian food in Adelaide. Foods taste good. The cooks prepare the food within 5 minutes after placing order. Operating until 8.30 pm, giving the chance for us to eat good foods here for two nights while in Adelaide.

I bought Chicken Laksa from this restaurant. It was great. But the lemongrass taste was overpowering every other taste. That’s the only negative point. The portion was super large. I was so full after having it. I think even two people can share it. The price is very reasonable as well. I loved the cosy indoor decorations they had. Wasn’t busy, but they had many phone orders.

Warong never fails to disappoint! Chose the combination laksa today and it was so creamy and delicious.

It opens at 11am on Sunday so we went in for brunch. Small dine in place but very welcoming staff. We ordered nasi lemak, that's tasty by itself with ikan bilis, fried chicken, boiled egg, cucumber and not forgetting sambal. Gado-gado was full of vege with peanut sauce, a healthier version since they don't have rice inside. All meal came in huge portion. Chicken satay was large size as well. The Maggi goreng was nice too. Teh tarik was not too bad. Ample parking around the restaurant. If we order thru the cide on the table, we will get 10% off.

Takeaway Order. Quick, delicious and generous. Absolutely brilliant Seafood Laksa, Combo Hor Fun and Wanton Noodle Soup the equal to some critically acclaimed Adelaide restaurant institutions.

Really disappointed. I had the beef rendang and roti. There was no flavour to the rendang and huge dry cubes of beef with 2 quarters of potato and a thin runny sauce. Not worth $16.00

Craving for Southeast Asian food so much, went to Warong Restaurant in Eastern suburb - Parkside. Not only they served Authentic and delicious Satay BBQ served with ecstasy peanut sauce, delicious Malay and Indonesian food here!
The most and recommended is the BBQ grilled ribs, which is so very juicy and delicious.especially like the one with some fat to be which add more fragrant and texture to the ribs!
Also recommend a Malay fried chicken and Malay fried noodles here. Most importantly, this is a Halal restaurant, and Muslim friends can also enjoy the food with a peace of mind!
Friends who like Malaysian and Indonesian food, highly recommend you to come here!

Just no. Charging Teh Tarik price as if it's brewed, only to get hot water added to sachet. No hint of bitterness from real black tea. The Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang tasted (and looked) like potato curry. Only the peanut & anchovy side was good. The Char Kway Teow had the sauce for Pad Thai mixed through. Was the cook confused? No smokey flavour; rather bland. This in comparison to my experiences in SG and Penang, but even poor standard for Adelaide. Generous serving sizes, but I won't be back
