Warong reviews
42 Food is nicely presented and tasted food. Counter service was quick and good. But food court environment itself let us down this time.
I still recommend Warong to anyone who likes to taste Malaysian food.
Getting expensive just like anything else. Spent AUD23 for nasi lemak ayam goreng and a can of coke.
I felt like something soupy and the food court was convenient so I thought I'd try Warong. Friendly service, quick service. The wonton soup was tasty enough.
Surprising Bland food. Don’t bother. Try Bak Lim or Beyond India instead (same food court)
Went there today and got disappointed, laksa is a bit sweet and don't have much soup, wasn't able to finish the food, also if you don't have cash, they will charge you $1.50 just for a take away container. Just left the the laksa as I don't have cash and im not paying $1.50 just for a container.
Delicious Malaysian & Indonesian food especially the fried rice. Sambal was decently spicy and flavours were on point. Priced well too for a food court lunch.
Ordered a dry wanton noodle.the food is really nice.and there’s one tall guy (not wearing glasses) working in cashier was very friendly and serve me really well. Would definitely come back again
Update: the quality of the rendang has declined significantly and is now definitely not worth what it costs
Just got food delivered 5 boxes and no fork nor spoon. Terrible.
Order via uber eat.order number 84851. You better get me something as we can't use our fingers to consume these foods.
We had our lunch here. Bought the Nasi Goreng chicken, Tom Yum Noodle Soup, and Teh Ais and the servings were large. Enjoyed the food (delicious and spicy) and the quick service. Atmosphere is so-so since the outlet is in a food court.
Pathetic portion for beef rendang nasi lemak only 4 small pieces of meat for $18 dish. Inflation have really hit us bad. Wouldn’t recommend this dish.
Waited 20 minutes for combination Hor fen. They forgot to press the buzzing button. Food was left at the counter. Staff gave me attitude. Shocking place
Impeccable service - extremely fast and fresh food. I get my order within 3 minutes. Food is a bit overpriced.
Had Nasi Goreng (opted for spicey) and my wife had Wonton Noodle soup, the meal took me back to Indonesia, very good and flavour full!
We both enjoyed a hot Teh Tarik (Pulled milk tea drink) which capped it off nicely.
Ive eaten authentic indo street food many many times. This doesn't come close in any way whatsoever. Over priced. A plate of rice veggies and an egg for $16.50
I’ve been visiting this place for the past 3 years and hands down the best Vegan Malaysian/Indonesian dishes (I’ve tried their Mee Goreng and Nasi Goreng Java) you can get. Other places say they do vegan but nothing as tasty and consistent in quality as this place. Highly recommend!
Food is authentic but very oily. Not much taste. It's a fast food kind of Indonesian delicacy.
Worst soup I have ever ate.and the bowl itself was filthy.some reason it's not allowing me to post the picture
Their food used be very tasty and good but now it has lost its magic touch. Food is very blend & don’t have that authentic taste anymore.
I was personally a big fan of this place as it offers good Hallal food. My last visit was a nightmare though. I went there and I was received by a young lady. I asked her that do you offer anything with lamb and the reply was 'No'. I asked for beef but then finally opted for Fish Ball Noodle Soup. I categorically told the young lady that I don't take chicken for religious reasons. Anyways. I got my meal and the lady did not bother giving me any sauces or anything else. I asked for everything.
As I started eating I realized there were chunks of chicken in my meal. I instantly went to the lady and told her that you had served me chicken. First she said I will pay you back. She went back in the kitchen, according to her she spoke to her manager and came back and said that we can't do anything. We cannot reimburse you or replace your meal. Not even an apology. I asked her to show me hallal certification and she didn't show me.
Plain disrespect. I have pictures of each and everything. The lady said you have eaten completely so we can't reimburse.
Had it been the case that she had said 'we are sorry' it would have been great. It was heartbreaking because this was a Hallal restaurant where I had one of the worst experiences.
To add I even had to ask her several times to give me receipt.
Before leaving the lady told me that the owner would call but I haven't heard from anyone.
Disrespectful totally!
