Wallaroo Holiday Park reviews
62 Love going to Wallaroo North Beach Caravan Park.
Good sites and large modern camp kitchen. Right near beach
Great location, clean and up to date amenities. Staff were accommodating and friendly, they found us a site very last minute. Awesome location with great beach access - beach is large and clean. Lots of activities to do as well!
Great park very clean and tidy friendly staff will will definitely be going back for a longer stay thanks very much
WOW! The Wallaroo Holiday Park definitely sets the benchmark for one of top caravan parks in Australia. The work is right next to the beautiful North beach. They have large grounds that can accommodate difficult kind of caravans, motorhomes etc big and small. The park is very green, very open, well maintained, very clean and very well equipped. There is a huge camp kitchen equipped with several hot plates, sinks ad fridges. It is connected to a dining room filled with several long tables and numerous seating areas. Next to it has a soft lounge tv area with a huge tv. And a games room with arcade games and with a projector. BBQs are scattered all over the park, bins can be found everywhere. They also have a fire pit next to the camp kitchen. There is a fish cleaning covered area. A good sized laundry area with 3 laundry machines and 1 dryer that takes 3 $1 coins both for a regular 30-40 min washing and drying, they also have a ironing area available. They have several toilet blocks which is kept clean, fresh and well stocked. They have about 5 toilets in a block per ladies and men's. And in the toilet block are also about 5 shower areas with the most amazing massage shower heads that has hot water. The toilet blocks also have very nice soothing calming music that is great. The park is pet friendly. Apart from the powered and unpowered sites they also have cabins and apartments available in the park. The sand on the beach is like powder under your feet. The staff were very friendly and courteous and made you feel welcomed. The park is filled with beautifully designed from the generous roads and camping spots, you won't feel cramped up. So many birds and lovely flowers, plants and trees adorn the park as well. And not to forget they have a huge bouncing pillow where the kids and kids at heart can go crazy bouncing. The Wallaroo Holiday Park is definitely a park to visit when in the area. Thank you for your amazing service, you have made our stay very special and comfortable. It would be a great plus to have a pool though hint hint.
I've stayed in one of the units for work and absolutely loved it. Beautiful location and very clean.
Friendly helping staff always willing to help. Very clean pertect spot to do nothing except watch best sunsets with a glass or 2 of wine. Very kid friendly big ones and little ones.
This Park is Amazing & caters for caravans etc as well as 3 different styles of onsite accommodation units/ small homes/ 2storey townhouses facing Beach waterfront OMG not little cabins.
I was only parked up in caravan 1 night, on the move, would go back in a heartbeat. Town Beutiful and Sunset?
Always great. Clean tidy park, good beach access, and this park seems to attract super nice travellers.
We had a wonderful stay at the Wallaroo Holiday Park in September. Whenever we come down from Adelaide, we always choose this park. The rooms are always clean and facilities are incredible state of the art!
Awesome New Camp Kitchen ***** 5 Star & Amazing Toilet and Shower Amenities with a View in the North Beach & Incredible Sunsets. Well Done
Great location on North Beach. The "North Beach Kitchen", an onsite Cafe us a great spot for coffee or brunch looking over the beach. Wallaroo has plenty of eating options. There is a modern supermarket. Kadina is a short driveway if you are looking for larger department stores. Also, the Moonta area and its heritage sites are in easy reach. The caravan park is well laid out and kept very neat and tidy. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The amenities and camp kitchen area are all very new and well kept.
Accommodation excellent heating, awesome shower head with various pressure levels (where do I get one?) and area clean.
Listening to the ocean while going to sleep relaxing.
Few more towels would have been helpful when 2 supplied for 4 people to share. Pillows, mattresses and blankets could do with clean, brown sweaty spots on them
Stopped in to visit family for the day, a great location and great amenities, will look into staying here some time.
Great Facilities. Recreation Room is huge and plenty of bbq's. Stayed in a spa unit which was right by the beach. Very modern unit, also had a great double shower. Only thing missing was hand soap, but a quick trip to the shop & we were all good. We all had a great time!
Beautiful caravan park, kitchen is gorgeous, could discount solo pensioners, would help, other than that, its still Beautiful
Superb caravan park with one of the best camp kitchens we have seen, park is located right on the beachl, staff are extremely helpful and polite
This is the best caravan park I've visited in 14 years of travelling round Oz in a motor home.
Excellent showers
Incredible camp kitchen with plenty of room to cook and seat several different groups. Air can, dish washers, large screen TV and comfortable lounge, outside dining etc.
All extremely clean and cared for.
Well done to owners and staff.
A great place to take your family and friends
With great ocean views of coastline and Wallaroo jetty
Very impressed. Best facilities we've seen in SA. All categories of accommodation covered.
We booked an en-suite and were disappointed that it was in a block of private bathrooms. If you ask for an en-suite and pay the extra $10 per day you will NOT get an en-suite close to your van but a private bathroom where you have to walk a fair way. You definitely would not use it at night and I couldn't use it at all because of the distance as I walk with a stick and the ground to it was uneven so did not suit us. Just as well we had a porta poty in our van. On the site we had near the private bathrooms the green matting was very worn and was a tripping hazzard. We were disappointed.
