Walkerville Bowling and Community Club reviews
10I have been here twice for private functions and both times the hosts have raved about this place as a venue for hire. As a guest, the bar staff have been welcoming and the venue itself is large with easy street parking. There is a full catering kitchen also available for those hiring the venue.
I saw the "Baby Boomers R Us" Over 50s Musical Comedy Floorshow here last night as part of The Adelaide Fringe that featured comedy impersonations, songs and bawdy jokes. Irish Albert, Katy Veld and Katy's daughter Mel were the performers. It suited people who have a broad mind and a liking for nostalgia.
Great organisation means convivial night owls on Thursday evenings and challenging social bowls on Tuesday afternoons.
A fantastic club providing a quality social environment for the local community. Cheers Jeff Teague
Well its old & could do with updating, it was a hot, humid day & the evaporative air con was usless, so my visit wasn't a good one.
NIGHT OWLS is a great night out for all ages.
Great community, cheap drinks and good organisers
We had our engagement party here and hired the greens as well. It was cheap (drink packages are affordable) and everyone had fun
A great place to hold a function. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Night bowls is next to try out
Excellent clubrooms stop full. But the bridge instructors Ray and Dave make a learning Bridge very enjoyable
