Walkers Arms Hotel

When we called to book for Mothers day we were told over the phone that we could use our entertainment book. They called the day before to check our booking and to ask how many mom's were on the table "1". We get there at 3.go to order our meals to be told we couldn't use the vouchers. We ordered a big platter for starters and mains to come after. Firstly they bring out 2 meals, which we sent back as we hadn't had the starter. Finished our starter with staff just kept walking past so we had to ask for our mains. Not once did anyone offer to the take the platter away while we ate our mains. I got nothing for Mothers day as they advertised either.i would understood if they were busy. But they wasn't.on our side we were the only table with plenty of staff walking past us. Was very disappointed.

Just experienced a wonderful Mother's Day lunch. Lovely to be greeted with a complimentary champagne for my mum and I, as well as chocolate coated strawberries after our meal. Friendly service and everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Good selection of local wine and gins.

Nicely renovated hotel with a good bar and meals area.

We stayed in the accommodation which was modern and clean.

The only downside is that the windows for the accommodation are directly above the beer garden.

The noise in the rooms was noticeable, but not out of control (we were there over Christmas).
If you were staying on a Friday or a Saturday you might hear it too.

Love our weekly family visits to Walker's Arms. Kid's meals are awesome and pizza night on Monday is the bomb. Yummy food, fantastic value

Very average pub meal. Salt and pepper squid overcooked like rubber bands. Won't be going back soon.

Went there Saturday night for dinner had to deal with drunk idiots threatening to bush us while the staff just ignored it, but the steak was good.

Order the 1kg wings with the blue cheese sauce. Some of the best food I've ever eaten. You won't be disappointed.

Nice place for catch up, a lot of specials through the week, also recommended for parties and get together.

Didnt like that much not good parking defently patrons had to much to drink. I blame pub for letting them get over drunk! All sbout the money!

Decent pub.great beer garden. Staff didnt know the specials that were advertised on Facebook but other than was enjoyable

Enjoyed really good schnitzels there (one with gravy, and my friend had chicken schnitzel parmigiana)

Good food atmosphere and service, but as the evening progresses the volume turns from speach to shout to impossible

Excellent pan fried salmon and morish chicken snitzel. Decor on the bland side. Reasonable beer selection. Worth dropping in for the food alone!

Great food great service my mother and I ate 2x 300g scotch fillet steaks.
Cooked to perfection for only $35 with split the bill.could have been more veg on plate only complaint.

Closed main bar at 11 and sent us to pokies plus can hear the cars on North East. Still good vibes though.

I was attending a Greek Night in the beer garden and has an amazing night. Please have more of these events regularly.

Absolutely appalled! Not only did we wait over a half hour for food while people around us who’d arrived after got their food, when our steaks arrived they were cold and very rare when we’d ordered medium! Only gave them 1 star cause no stars wasn’t an option!

One star for the comfortable chairs, the food was not good, don't have the steak shocking the fish over cooked but someone had the ribs and loved them, service was great so one star for great workers, it's a pity it's main feature, food was lacking

Attended a catered function. Really nice atmosphere and great food. Looking forward to going there again on a casual basis
