VON Thai

Ordered chicken satay and pad Thai with chicken take away. Chicken satay was yummy and lots of sauce which was delicious, but pad Thai lacked flavour and the big chunks/slices of fried chicken didn't really seem to be part of the dish and rather just a side thought.

Ordered a chicken green curry and rice. Very authentic and tasty. Lots of chicken and veggies, and amazing creamy coconut taste. Other menu also look so tasty, I’ll definitely try more next time.

Genuinely fine Thai food! Exceptional quality dining in a vibrant city atmosphere. Pleasant, friendly and prompt service! Generous serves of entrees, mains and desserts. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience at VON Thai.

Staff are accommodating, friendly and attentive. Food is delicious with reasonable portion. Love the sauce of seaflowers. Could eat two bowls of rice with that sauce. Thai fried chicken pad thai is quite yummy too. Good vibe and interior.

Beautifully understated tiny little restaurant. The service was impeccable, wine choices somewhat staggering in variety and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Personal fav spot for Thai in Adelaide. Been here a couple of times and loved the food.

Intimate and sophisticated, with warm and friendly service. Great menu with all the Thai favourites and a solid wine list, all reasonably priced. Staff was happy to dial up the heat in the red curry and cook the tofu to order, which we really appreciated. One of the few quality Thai restaurants in Adelaide open on Sunday nights. A great meal!

Very nice night out with friends at VON Thai, 7 of us for dinner. Service was very friendly, it wasn't too busy, and there is quite a lot of parking on the street, and surrounding streets. The food was nice, served quickly and about the right portion size.

Fabulous service. Provided help with non spicy for me and husband got the spice he needed. Very generous serves. Highly recommend

I have eaten a lot of Thai food, we had a noodle dish that tasted burnt. For 3 people with wine our bill came to $220, quite expensive, for a Thai restaurant. I will not be returning, due to the expense.

The food were so delicious and have fantastic staff. We are really enjoyed here. Very nice restaurant.

Great first night in Adelaide very busy but they fitted us in, great fresh food with fantastic friendly service catered for my wife's sea food allergy

It was the best choo chee barramundi I have ever had.
It was a shame that there is alcohol everywhere, almost on display, which was a bit strange. Also the floor was grotty, it needed a vacuum

Found it as we were in a hitel next door but am so glad we did. Amazing food hot Fresh and very tasty. Prices are ok for city restaurant. A little off the main drag but definitely worth the walk. 5 mins from centre. All of the staff were attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back. Down side.the wine prices were a little expensive even for city prices.

Excellent! A very good place to enjoy a different choices from their menu. The staff is amazing! They are always kind, understandable and polite.

Meals were absolutely delicious with excellent service, prices are fair with a nice selection of whiskey to choose from, it is a small restaurant with a tight dining area if you're keen to go I would make a reservation to be on the safe side.
I will be back again for another delightful meal soon

Plenty of parking out front of the restaurant and there are dining tables located outside as well for a dining option.

Has been great in the past but our last visit on 22nd Jan 2023 was disappointing. Flavours, quality and timely food service was thin. They refunded 1 meal which was appreciated.

Fresh, delicious and well presented food. Well informed about the spice level. Incredible service by the friendly and attentive waitress. An excellent dining experience

Excellent food, good sized portions, pleasant setting and attentive staff. Clearly we couldn’t ask for more…actually we can add that the staff politely decline tips! We will definitely dine here again. Thank you for a lovely evening.
