I have recently had day surgery on my left eye for a third nerve palsy performed by Dr Celia Chen. The surgery went very well and I suffered no pain whatsoever after the procedure. Dr Chen has looked after me for many years and I find her to be very professional, thorough and respectful. She has a beautiful nature and has always treated me in a calm manner. I have nothing but praise for her and the girls on the reception desk are always bright and cheerful. I would trust Dr Chen 100% with any eye problems I had. Judy Bailey, one very satisfied patient.

Please be prepared for rude and unprofessional receptionist! Having bad attitude and very bad at explaining. No pity for them at all. Think they are very smart at arguing with customers.

Cataract removal and lens replacement, both eyes, 1 year apart. Celia Chen was very efficient and kind; a pleasure to deal with. The staff were also efficient and kind, very professional. Can I give ten stars? ! Five for each eye? The whole thing was painless. Both eyes are now perfect with long range vision and I only need reading glasses, not even prescription ones. I could not be happier with the services of Celia Chen.

All the staff and specialists have been kind and efficient and totally supportive. Dr Chen performed an operation on me at City Calvary hospital. The operation was amazingly successful and has changed my life for the better. The care I received at the hospital was fantastic, they anticipated my smallest needs and cared for me in a friendly professional way.

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Professor Celia has saved my eyesight. I suffer with chronic Psedotumor Cerebri and with her guidance and strong understanding of the condition I have been able to stabilize my vision.

Cataract surgery both eyes about three weeks apart. The first (left) eye, couldn't be happier; recovery as described, corrected shortsightedness, blurring and mild astigmatism, no longer need glasses for that eye. Second eye, vision is now worse than when I first visited. Dr Loh very reluctant to listen or acknowledge my concerns and kept using words such as "slight", "very mild" and "minor" and disputed the vision was worse. Until he checked the initial eye test and then went quiet on that subject, still not acknowledging. Large blurry semi opaque object obscuring vision not there before surgery and double vision in that eye.

Absolutely THE most professional, friendly, helpful medical experience I've ever had. Two cataract operations, fully explained, expertly done, with just life-changing results. Highest possible recommendation for Dr Chen and her staff.

I chose A/Prof Celia Chen for my cataract surgery, as my husband had been so happy with the outcome of his surgery. Dr Chen has changed my life. I am 65 years old and have worn glasses since I was 2 years old, and had a +6.50 script. With Dr Chen's skill and knowledge I no longer need glasses. Her staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

This place is awesome Dr. Chen was helpful, confident and very friendly same as her assisant. She explain all the details i needed fo my eyes which was good and didnt expect it to happen not like other eye clinics or opthalmologist i been through.highly recommend to everyone.

The worst customer service EVER! The receptionists are incompetent and never helpful. Wont go into the long story but wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Mind you the specialist was lovely and fantastic. Shame the staff are terrible.
