Virgara wines are an undiscovered Gem. Without a doubt, the absolute best Rosé of my life! Not really the place to sit down and have a cheese board. It's all about wonderful wines!

Beautiful wines at the Cellar Door and it was an absolute pleasure to meet Tony. We are building a home on what was the Virgara vineyards land and couldn’t be prouder. We will definitely become a regular customer to both the cellar door and restaurant.

Lovely wines particularly the dry rose. Sneakys restaurant was fabulous. Beautiful food and fantastic service. We'll be back!

Disgusting service, rude waitress, waited an hour for our pizzas to come out and they looked like a soup, worst service from an empty restaurant, now we know why it’s empty here.

Great place good food! Staff need to be trained how to deliver food and drinks. A young lady lent over my plate of food twice when serving drinks instead of walking around the table.

Sneaky's is a great place, a little noisy inside but the food and service is great. Will continue to visit.

When people talk about wine in Adelaide, there’s ongoing disputes about the best reds either coming from the Barossa or McLaren Vale regions. But the forgotten, underrated area is the Adelaide Plains. Virgara Wines have some very nice, complex, robust reds in their repertoire and a bunch of very nice whites as well. Ignore the hype of the region and taste Virgara’s reserve Shiraz and Cab Sav varietals and you will be thinking of the reds of the Barossa and McLaren Vale. But then, I’m not a Som, I just know what I like. And Virgara has very nice reds that compare to a lot of reds I’ve tried in the Barossa costing twice as much. The cellar door in Angle Vale is a far cry from the Barossa experience. There’s no queue, you get a very intimate and personal experience. Carmine is a lovely host, taking you through the range and making you feel like part of the family. No pressure, no rush. We are honoured to be buying Virgara reds, whites and sparkling wines for the guests at our wedding. On the way to the Barossa I’d recommend stopping by and trying them out. You might just find what you’re looking for before driving on.

Friendly staff, great service and a nice range of wines. The bulk fortified is very good value, perfect for adding to your port barrel.
