All started well, our waitress was awesome and knew the menu well.
We ordered the quail, olive / anchovie / Pablo and beef tartare starters which were very nice.
The scotch fillet main was very nice, however the duck fillet in our opinion was under cooked and had blood still dripping. We could not eat this dish and raised our concerns to two other table servers (not our waitress). They took light of our feedback and one offered to have the duck cooked further or a ‘free desert’ claiming everyone thinks that about the duck? I mentioned poultry needed to be cooked and they took light to that. To save embarrassment for all we placated then two table servers and withdrew our view on how poultry should be served.
All in, a lovely place, great wine list but don’t order the duck unless you like it very rare alongside the service to remedy this….

This was an extraordinary lunch - amazing value and in fact I’d say the prices are too good. Well done to the Vinters team

Went with my partner and my pooch. Food is great, some dishes have room to improve and overall great. Towards the end of our seating, as we sat outdoor with our pooch, I got 20 insect bite which is a shame. They have beautiful outdoor seating but really need to work on the buds issue.

Had dinner tonight. Absolutely beautiful evening, great food, wine, ambience and service. First class and highly recommend especially for a special occasion.

Very poor service and how do you go in getting it so wrong the food was very poor.
I guess it's not for everyone but you do not have to struggle to cut your food. 3 out of 8 people found it poor.
The restaurant looked very nice.

We had a fantastic lunch mid-week, the food was excellent with service to match.
Highlight was the scallop pie, although the mushroom pasta was a close second.

Went for Mothers Day 3 course lunch, food was delicious and service was great, would highly recommend

Outstanding. Had lunch here with two mates and we each had something different and all said it was our favourite restaurant in the Barossa. The fresh pasta dish was my personal favourite…

A very good meal last night but with a couple of criticisms. First the good.great service. My two courses were in the main excellent. My partner really enjoyed her pasta main. The criticisms.my main came with a "salad". In my mind a few large radicchio leaves (I personally find it too bitter) and a sprinkling of rocket is not a salad. The other criticism were my partners dumplings were close to inedible due to having a very tough dough casing, either under steamed or over steamed, not sure why they were tough. I am not a chef, I pay other people good money to do the cooking for me
Anyway, overall I recommend the place and next time (yes we are booked in again) I will be wary of those issues.

The food was really good, nice vibe but we felt like we were ripped off. After hesitation I’ve decided on beef ribs (information on menu supplementary $10 pp). All the waitress said was that it meant to be shared but it’s also good for one person. When we laid it was counted as extra fish & on top of that $20 supplementary. When asked the waitress said she thought she mentioned that. Well, she didn’t. So please clarify in menu the actual cost for dish cause it’s not worth extra $40 or you order that only for 1 person.

This place has withstood the test of time. The atmosphere is elegant sophistication, the staff are smooth and well versed.

The food is delicious, simply presented but full of flavour. They have a great wine list to compliment the food.

Well all I can say is wow, what a lovely experience from the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted and sat all within 2minutes, the service was excellent throughout the whole time we were there and the food was 100% perfect, would we return yes in a heart beat, would we recommend 100% yes we would, Thank you for a lovely evening. What you do you do very well.

Snacks and appetisers were delicious, and service was wonderful. Larger meals could be a bit more refined, but still tasty. Beautiful setting to enjoy an evening meal.

A lovely sophisticated setting amongst the vines; food was excellent; staff were helpful and I would say that whilst not cheap, it is very good value for money.

The restaurant got a good view at the back, but the service is just nightmare! The lady with glasses served us was the most unprofessional waitress I’ve ever seen! She seemed like doesn’t wanna serve us at all, she wouldn’t introduce the food and took our plates after only two seconds when we finish our courses, we still have food in our mouth! What makes you rush?

This was part of the barossa unique tour. Totally recommended steak fabulous and the kingfish crudo beautiful plus the koisoi entree was so enjoyable! Little slow with service on a friday

My wife and I went to this restaurant based on good reviews we read. We encountered unprofessional service, dishes incorrectly described on the menu, rudeness and basically low quality cuisine. As a small compensation, we were not charged for one dish which was inedible. We do not recommend this establishment.

Great atmosphere, nice service, price and quality so so compared to competitors. Surprisingly I enjoyed 40's Cafe more at half the cost down the street. The main downfall I found was the lack of sauces and extras to compliment each dish. Having a simple steak for example with no chips or mash included leaving a small piece of steak in the middle of the plate looking lonely. Maybe it's not my cup of tea but it wouldn't take much to turn the food to excellent.

The wine bottle was left on the table which i prefer
Guestroom clean and pleasant.
