Vinnies Adelaide reviews
13It might be relatively small, but there is some good gear in great condition here. Friendly staff & pleasant service.
Dina the Store Manager is an absolute gem. Always so helpful and lovely to deal with. She understands the art of customer service. A very rare breed.
Wonderful shop. Open and bright. Great to have quality items to select from. Very friendly staff and volunteers. Always a good shopping experience from Vinnies city store.
Well presented store with good quality items. I thought the prices were reasonable given it’s location. However, 2/3 of the staff were enough to make me not want to visit again. One person *literally followed us around the store*, not commenting or offering assistance, just staring. It was unnerving. If you need things to occupy your time, speak to your manager but don’t follow people around. And the other person, who I suspect was the manager, was very cold - she was straightening the racks and I lightheartedly apologised that I was just about to go through that rack and “try not to mess it up” and she just looked at me. Only the young woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful.
Love it here! Just went for the first time and wowie i had a field day! Got so many gorgeous gems, will be coming back:)
Staff aren't that involved and have minimal fashion knowledge but other than that it's a great shop and I've found some good stuff there
The 78 records mega overpriced $8 ea, I tried to reason with Jayden (manager) that everyone else sell them for $1 ea, he said we're different here, I should have said, what makes you so special and cause it a charity shop you think customers are happy to spend $7 extra/record (that was 3 years ago)
Some cloths are at and above retail price! Some are 10% below retail!
Identical cloths to their Hawthorn store except Hawthorn has genuine thrift shop prices!
Way too expensive. They are an op-shop with donated items yet charging Myer and David Jones sale prices. The handbags especially are so over priced it's laughable. You'll find cheaper on eBay or Gumtree!
Absolutely love this place! They have really great stock, lots of designer labels and the staff are awesome.
Great new Vinnies. Classy vintage and modern pieces, all well sourced designer brands. Well priced, great finds!
Fancy and vintage op shop. You'll love it if you like different articles to dress, cook and admire
Way overpriced. Manager is greedy. Bought something yesterday after I had paid she stupidly told me she had taken it from another store and changed the price, she had added $20 and hadn't removed old price ticket. I don't mind paying to charity but I hate greedy Manager's and sadly thats the way these shops are becoming really puts me off donating.
