Worst Bahn Mi I've had in years. Roll was at least a day old, Very poor form for a Monday lunch when they are shut all weekend. Hate to think it was left over from Friday. It tasted stale and was so dry and crumbly.

The meat was also bland and flavourless, both the roast pork and "lemongrass" chicken. Maybe one crispy bit in the roll too.

You might expect this from some random servo or bakery offering Bahn Mi but from a place that specialises in the stuff is unacceptable.

I would have gone back and made a formal complaint but it was during Monday lunch rush at 1230 and I had no time, hence grabbing a quick lunch.

Picked up a take away roast pork banh mi. Not bad, but the roll wasn’t as fresh as what I was expecting. The veg spring rolls were great, full of stuffing and flavour.

Had a combination banh mi and everything about it was cold. Whatever crackling pork was in there was not crackly at all. $9.50 is a bit pricey for substandard banh mi.

Love this place, nice interior. Brekky roll was beautiful and the dim sums are the perfect side to share.

Bumped into this place by chance. And chance gave me great vietnamese experience. Not genuine but bloody good and all for supporting the local food culture

Wow. Walked away from the Breakfast place across the street as it seemed kinda average. Almost missed this place and glad we decided to go here. Their Bahn Mi was so good. It was quite the walk from our place but willing to make the treck back honestly. Still thinking about it

Roast pork noodle salad had very little roast pork and noodles. Dressing was tasteless. Customer service was weird and offhand. Pretty disappointing.

My dad says: "Five stars. Economical, charming and tasty. Much better than the sushi I had yesterday. "

My wife and I had a Viet roll each and dim sims for lunch. I have been here many times since they opened and guess what, they are still fantastic as the day they opened. Yes it gets busy and you may have to line up but its worth every cent.

Good food, staff were good. They need to have prices on their menu though. Not good when they give you a price and then tell you it's dearer when you go to pay for it.

Have been enjoying Bahn Mi (Vietnamese roll) here for a few years. Which have been nice but there are better places in Adelaide. Recently decided to try the Noodle salad box. Fantastic! Flavor and amazing serving size. Worth 5 stars.
Might have been converted from rolls to Noodle salad box as staple lunch.

Not bad, it's okay but my socks haven't been blown off, I will maybe give it one more chance, maybe.

Absolutely best steamed dims iv had around, Good rolls, roast pork is alright (nice crackling / nice ratio of meat vs fat), eaten here about 3 times so far and will continue when in the area. On my last visit I found out you can get a banh mi without bread just the crunchy outside of the roll, will definitely be getting that next time!

So this was a little hidden gem that my mate took me to yesterday, and I will most certainly be back. Wow wow wow

Banh Mi quality has gone way downhill during my many visits here over the last 5 years. Yesterday my 'Roast Crackling' Pork roll had literally no crackling, just lots of soggy pork fat and the bun was totally stale. Has been getting worse and worse over time. Other items are tasty but expensive for the quality. Disappointing.

Divine. The Grenfell St store is perfectly positioned for a quick takeaway. Fast service, fresh ingredients, great attitude. Heaven in a Viet baguette.

Poor quality Ban Mi Thit and with city prices as well. Chopped up stalks of Coriander and next to no chilli. Get the real Vietamese in Pennington.

I thought it was the best banh mi shop. So I have been there many times. But today I got a bad one and disapointed by Vietnamese laundry. I got a lot of burnt meat like pictures below. I was asking the staff about those thing and they just said it's charcole which I can eat (?). So okay I had to eat so bitter banh mi.
The whole bread is full of burnt pork pieces which is not worth price I had to pay. Really disappointed. I will not come here again.please consider about it.
