Hi my name Domenica Frisina I came my daughter Francesca frisina yes made booking on same night first at 800pm then ring back change to 730pm got corner tables if was really nices first order 1 dozen of natural oysters that gluten free and dairy free as starting for our main got banquet for to 2 people that was gluten free and dairy free I litre Sparkling water to of Vietnam espresso martini as well this my third times I high recommend this if love Asian cuisine staff fantastic service is fantastic what more could asked hospitality is fantastic well thankyou again for hospitality get us in last minute really appreciate see next times

When my friend referred me to this place, I thought this is just another restaurant with good beef pho. But after having dinner, the experience has proven to be far exceeded my expectation, and this is not just another ordinary Vietnamese restaurant! We were served by Viet (yes, “Viet” is the name of the waiter), and he is a star! He has put up some really good recommendation for us and he has a good sense is humour. Can’t wait till our next visit

This annex of the Vietnam Restaurant is an intimate bar and eatery with modern, smart looking decor. The floor staff were helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent. All dishes were high quality and well presented. My favourites were the spicy lemon grass and chilli quails and the special fried rice. We also had chicken, pork, beef, prawn, more chicken, and beans, so we covered all of the food groups. The only critique is that the prawns were noon as tasty and thr could have been.

A very busy Wednesday night. Service was very slow, maybe they were short staffed. Food took a very long time to come out. The prawn hot and sour soup was the best dish. The fried rice was burnt and not pleasant to eat. The salad and crispy chicken dishes were full of flavour. Overall the food was quite good. I would try again.

Viet Next Door is a lovely setting - the food was DELicious! SO many options for food, the Spring Rolls and Rare Beef Noodle Soup are a must! Best Vietnamese food we’ve had in Australia. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it!

Unreal experience, I’ve been a chef for the past 10 years, this place is at the top of Adelaide’s best restaurants, it’s an honour to eat this food, great staff as well! Cheers for the memories

I was quite disappointed with my experience. I assumed there would be more options that were 'Viet Next Door' not 'Vietnam' dishes. The place is nice and cute, but the food was just okay. I would definitely recommend the clay hot pots.but the salt and pepperes squid was quite average. The salt and peppered eggplant was definitely better, but all in all it was just.ok. Disappointing that we had to wait midway into the meals (and then a follow up) for our drinks - literally cans or coke and Sprite. And then super disappointing that two of the dishes we ordered were forgotten and just not served. Oh also, the fried ice cream was gross - $10 for undercooked, weird flavoured batter.

This place serves incredible food: simple yet authentic. Every dish is served at a correct pace, neither bombarded all at the same time nor served really slow. The overall taste is balanced and every ingredient shines through. The decor is contemporary, stylish and sophisticated. The staff is extremely polite and thoughtful. This place is apt for long hour conversations as the ambience of this place is cozy and comfortable. The menu is extensive and has a variety of choices for everyone.  Went here to celebrate my friend's birthday, and this place did justice to it and we enjoyed our hearts out. We ordered the following dishes and am trying my best to remember the names:

- Cheeseburger Spring rolls

- Fiery chicken wings

- Chicken fried rice

- Minced pork balls cold paper rolls

- Soft shell crab with ginger and chili

- Crispy fried chicken

- Crispy chicken ginger and chili

- Margarita:  The margarita was pretty strong and gave us all a buzz!

We loved every single dish. This place should be on your list if you like Vietnamese cuisine as you will be highly satisfied, and I am glad we visited here!

This place is absolutely incredible! The restaurant has an aesthetic interior with unique decor and beautiful dining experience. Servers were also patient, accomodating and dedicated to ensuring a comfortable dinner. Went here for date night, and had ordered the first of four banquet options. The entire meal was filling, and used highly quality ingredients that were cooked to perfection. The prawn king soup was spicy, tangy and sweet, the combination salad was crisp and refreshing, the lemongrass chicken was tender with a smokey glaze, the steaming hotpot was served in front of us and had a complex taste with a multitude of textures, the salt and pepper squid was crunchy with well-balanced flavours, and the lychees with ice-cream was a perfect sugar hit to the finish off the whole meal. Highly recommend coming here and coming for an awesome dining experience - I will definitely be making an appearance again!

One of the finest Vietnamese recipes I have tried in Adelaide. We went there to celebrate my birthday and we had an amazing time. The staff were warm and polite. I would definitely visit this place again and will recommend it to my family and friends.

Booked a week ago and the restaurant called me twice to make sure I’ll come. When I showed up with my friend they still don’t have seat for us. We have to go to the next door one to wait and then have food next door. The girl in the restaurant kept explaining their menu is the same and everything is the same. Then I don’t see the point why I should go the website to book and why their two restaurants named differently. I was planning to have a nice dinner with my friend in this nice environment with booking in advanced but it turned out they didn’t save the seat for us and arranged us in a totally different environment which I didn’t expect. So I’m very disappointed with their service though I had dinner many times in the next door one. I think they should definitely improve their management and booking system and live up to the customers’ expectation. If customer booked this one they don’t like to be seated next door. The food they served has nothing in common with that in the photos! It’s a really bad experience and I don’t think anyone should spend their special night in this restaurant!

A very popular restaurant around Port Adelaide! Need to book a table in advance. Tasteful foods, good music, friendly staffs but asked for the bill several times.waited for 20 minutes.anyway, it’s still worth a visit!

It is such an amazing and relaxing place! Nice food, wonderful drinks and desserts. I love this restaurant and also people working there are warm and caring. I was busy with eating, totally forgot to take photos.that is how good the food was! Lol
