Vientiane Thai-Laos Restaurant reviews
33Food and service is the best. Very authentic food not Westernized. Hosts are friendly and generous. Returning soon. Thanks Jack & family.
Our group was very happy with the meals tonight. The quality of the food was excellent and so was the service. Using an entertainment book voucher to receive 25% off saved us quite a bit of money.
All meals were high quality and we are looking forward to coming back again.
Amazing food and service, staff were so friendly and the food was everything you could ask for.
Great food! Nice homey atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Recommend the fried rice, curry puffs and house wine
Very tasty food. Sweet and sour chicken was soo tasty. Other dishes tasty too. Duck was the letdown, what there was tasty but not much meat in the dish. The beef dish was also tasty but not much beef either
We went for my b-day dinner tonight. Food was delicious. Service was fabulous (probably the owner served our food). Definitely I can recommend this place.
Clean and authentic Thai food, brilliant service, great parking out back, just a great place to eat or takeaway. Our new favourite local!
One of the best Green Curries I’ve ever had! I ask for heat and it delivers! Flavour combinations are on point every time I’ve ordered this. Always stop in if I’m in the area,
I dream of this green curry! Never had a takeaway green curry so rich, complex and well made! Best I’ve ever had! When I lived in the area I’d get AT LEAST once a week! Everything else I’ve tried has been above average too, but the green curry got me good! The most friendly service too. Have waited a while when busy, but always well worth it!
That was terrible …
Is that even a prawn pad Thai? Literally all noodles all over cooked noodles stuffed in a container and that’s it.too much sugar, where is bean sprouts, peanuts and other stuffs.
And cashew chicken curry oh my god.pathetic.over cooked veggies.tasteless.so disappointing …
waste of money.
Food was excellent. Chef however needs to be more mindful of sending out the mains for a table together. Two of our party of 7 were almost finished by the time the last person was served their main. Also if rice is ordered with a main it should come at the same time. It is not another course!
Every single time I have ever ordered take away they have been 20-25 minutes longer than anticipated. If they say come in 25 minutes, I arrive 30 minutes later just to be safe and then have to wait at least another 20 minutes. Food is okay but this will be the last time I ever come here after experiencing this issue for the 10th time.
Booked a table over the phone for 22/01/22 arrived on time the place was closed, sign on gate said closed 12th to 16th Jan still closed 22nd, not happy, why take a booking!
I ordered online for delivery. Not only did I receive the wrong dish, but the one I received instead was unfortunately well under par. I ended up with Yummy Seafood after ordering Garlic Seafood. The yummy seafood reminded me of a quick weeknight dinner. Mainly because the vegetables had the look and taste of being boiled first, then mixed through. They were very similar to mixed frozen vegetables. It was watery and the seafood was average. I wish I could be more positive.
I have tasted better Thai food, although these have some Laos influence. The staff are pleasant and obliging. The entre prawn crackers, spring rolls, curry puff, unless you are into entres, I would not recommend a Banquet $34/pax. For the price, pick from alacarte menu is better value and don’t get fill up on entre before the mains. Dishes were average. Not too many car Parks, had it not been for covid restrictions.
Priority given to take away. Waited 90mins for our meal while take away orders were coming in being placed and leaving.
Very poor service.
They have really dropped the ball as it used to be so good
Poor food with no flavour. Only decent thing was the Tom yum soup yet everything else had no flavour.
Thought we might try this restaurant as we live locally and went there when it was Indian years ago.
Service was a bit slow and for the price charged for a glass of wine you would expect a more generous amount. Food was ok.
Great tasting food and very friendly staff.
Service was a little erratic with a big gap between main dishes being served and no dessert menu offered.
Would happily dine there again however, on the quality of the cuisine.
The place is cosy food was okay noticed one spoon was dirty, they replaced it plus one of the mains they cooked it but forgot to bring it out, but apart from that it was cosy
