SA Quilting conducted their Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council. Huge numbers attended from all over the Adelaide Plains, the Hills and nearby towns. The aim was to provide food, fun and a fascinating experience. Their large team of enthusiastic volunteers were keen, helpful and unobtrusive. The only concern was those huge numbers of attendees which congested the Hall, blocked the entrance and slowed tea service. The site is large but it was stretched to it's limits, at around noon, which could have been terrible, but the visitors all showed restraint and adapted to the initial congestion. After the surge in numbers everything went well and everyone had great time.
