Veggo Sizzle reviews
77The food the chef the service amazing. Would recommend highly especially the avocado fries
Food is creative and delicious. The owners are very friendly.
Their avocado chips are surprisingly yummy and the sizzling eggplant was the best.
Love the descriptions/stories of their dishes in the menu. It really shows their passion of food.
Location is not the best but we don't mind as it’s away from the busy city. However, there will be packed of customers if it is in somewhere like Newtown or Surry Hills.
Food was absolutely delicious, perfect for all the vegans and non vegans. Will be coming back
Would not recommend this place. My partner and I both left with stomach aches. There are many other vegan and vegetarian restaurants where your money would be more well spent. All of the dishes were small in portion for the price and bland in flavour. My vegan chicken was unfortunately burnt in some places. The grilled pineapple was 2 slices of pineapple and a scoop of icecream for $14.90. The server whilst polite did not speak above a whisper the entire service.
A bit pricey and small portion but overall Vegan friendly food. A bit too expensive for the stuff you get. The menus a bit misleading in that there's Thai Chinese indian and Aussie fusion going on. Not really sure what food I'm eating. Really a mix not sure what to have. The avacardo fries were strange but nice kinda. Was expecting potato fries with avacardo
We had a wonderful time at Veggo. Felt super comfy and awesome food. I guess best vegan place which has the combination of everything. Totally loved the way they have curated the menu.
Took my husband for the bday dinner and he totally loved it. Thanks for the great food ️
I know it says sizzle in the name but stay away from the sizzlers they are not great rest of the food was quite good. Fried rice was very nice, satay roti and pineapple dessert
The food is good. However I didn't feel convinced with the explanation/attention I was provided with when I complained about the lengthy wait time for sizzeler to arrive
We've been to this restaurant many many times now and the food is is just amazing. This is one of the best restaurants in Sydney no doubt. Lassa and all the vegan curries here are my fav. The staff are super friendly and accommodate food so per your request. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.
We took our vegan visitors here, amazing food everything was delicious great flavours (we are not vegan) we ordered some entrees and 4 mains to share, lot of food, great quality, we will go back definitely
What a great culinary experience I came here on a quiet Tuesday night and after being welcomed so warmly by the staff and especially after tasting the super delicious food, I was surprised the place wasn’t full! I ordered a portion of the Satay Roti and the vegan buffalo wings and wow was I satisfied These guys make their food with love…Highly recommend!
What a find! We had dinner here while visiting Five Dock and it was delicious. Every thing was made fresh and attention to detail and presented with love. Mango Lassi (with a difference) and Fried Avocado was the highlight.
Very friendly service and a clean place. Thumbs up for the husband & wife team running the place.
Vego chicken burger was really good. Chips were proper fish and chip style chips. Service was quite slow considering there was only one other table there but was worth the wait. Tap water was unfiltered and tasted bad. A bit overpriced for what you get though.
We had some Thai, some Italian and some Indian too. All items were very tasty. This is a place you can go with expectations and variety of cuisines.
Some of the Thai food could be spicier. Please ask if people like it hot-medium-mild.
Overall I recommend this place!
Such a hidden gem. My friend and I came an hour before close and went over their closing time a little bit but they were still so lovely. Food is amazing. Definitely a go-to vegan spot!
Recently new to vegan diet due to my daughter being allergic to dairy. Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was fresh and delicious.
Will be coming back again.
Visited Veggo Sizzle at FiveDock today with family. The food and service both were excellent. The mango lassi and Buffalo wings were beyond our expectations. The sizzlers were great too. Will definitely visit again!
Food was tasty but portions seemed small for the prices. The dessert brownie seemed store bought.
A dear friend introduced me to this place tonight. So many options to choose from but my litmus test is stir fried noodles. Thoroughly enjoyed the drunken noodles. Will be going back to sample more even though I am not really local!
Nice and quiet spot during the weekday to grab some dinner. Had the satay sizzle and masala curry, they were very generous with the satay sauce and that was amazing. Could do with heating the cast iron plate less as it burnt the bottom of the food by the stage we got half way through it, pity. Same with the chocolate brownie, was so so so good but, honestly didn't need to be on a hot plate- even though i understand the whole idea of a sizzle, because it just burnt it before you could finish it: (
The curry tasted watered down, had no depth of flavour- very flat and once mixed with rice it was flavourless. Mango lassi was beautiful, fruity and refreshing! Lovely people to chat with!
