I Just bought scotch fillet from Vatan Supermarket it was very very bad with a bad stink. I’m really disappointed, I won’t go back again. I don’t recommend to buy meat from them.

Really love their tandoori and marinated chicken. Just toss it in the oven and done.
Good selection of meat as well. I drive from Glenelg to shop there so happy with their stuff.

Freshly made bread is their specialty. Fresh meat has a lot of variety but the prices are on the higher side. I won’t recommend to buy loose dry fruit. Also, always check the expiry date of the packed foods.

Best place for Halal meat (lamb, goat, chicken etc). Target clientele is Pakistani / indians). You will find all type of cooking spices and everyday food items.

Compared to similar grocery shops and butchers around this area, Vatan Supermarket stands out to be better than others. The store it self looks clean and presentable. This is my go-to place for halal meat. Not only regular meat like beef, lamb, chicken and goat they also have some additional items for meat lovers like liver, heart, kidney, tail, tripe, tongue, brain and more. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to buy halal meat.

Had been a very good experience so far.always go there especially for buying halal meat and Naan breads.and usually spices and other Desi stuff.so far a very nice experience and a very cooperative and friendly staff.will keep going there and recommend others as well.wish they had a branch in the city as well.

The most ridiculous customer service and even worst answer from the owner. That is the reason there are no customers every time.

Vatan has a wide variety of meats, breads, dried fruits and legumes, nuts, spices, sweets, pantry staples, kitchen ware, whatever you want. I've been going here for almost 10 years and the customer service and cleanliness has been consistent. They do the best chicken sausages ever! And it's definitely an Adelaide experience to drive home with a still-warm flatbread in the car, the smell driving you crazy, so you end up eating the whole thing with lashings of butter and vegemite and need a 2nd bread for your curry.

Good variety of pakistani indian and afghan grocery.the shop owner is reallybhelping as well.and if lucky you can find fresh afghan bread yhere as well

The go to place for all Halal meat varieties. It’s always fresh and they do large orders as well. Also great for groceries, which too is all halal products

Best place to get your fresh meat and flat bread. I love the fact that the owner or man at the cash register is always friendly and helpful. A good neighbourhood store.

They have a very popular butcher there and you can get good meat at a reasonable price. There is also a man who makes fresh Turkish flat bread there and a big piece is about 2 dollars

If you need food from the Middle East, this is the best shop due to the price and the people work there.
