Vasili's Taverna

Went to Vasili’s Taverna for dinner with the family and was not disappointed. Friendly staff with great service and reasonably priced. The lamb yiros was amazing the meat was soft and full of flavour. Best charcoal yiros shop in Adelaide definitely recommend!

All in this restaurant was wonderful, the owner is very kind and gentle. The AB is the best in Adelaide, is charcoal meat and the tzatziki was awesome.:)

We live 4hrs away but every time we come up to visit sons, grandsons, parents. Or head off to the footy we only ever come here to Vasilis's or Yianni's on Hindley for yiros's.
Lamb Chicken Pork Cooked over coals fresh salad the bread light fluffy the chips are great too

Best Yiros I've had in Adelaide! As I got out of my car I smelt the most delicious charcoal meat, followed my nose and landed up in Vasili's Taverna. The owner greeted me warmly and offered me a taste of each meat to help my decision.it was a hard one to make as all the meat was absolutely delicious! Went for the lamb Yiros, best best best, an absolute must try! Yum

The yiros was yummy with plenty of fillings and generous garlic sauce. The only downside I would say is that it is quite expensive for a yiros - we paid $17 for a combination yiros.

Incredibly juicy meat, creamy sauce, crispy and herby pita bread and crunchy chips. There’s not a single part of the meal here that falls short. The service is exceptional and the owner greets everyone personally.

Best Yiros out west, one of the best in Adelaide. Well worth the trip down and would recommend. Fresh ingredients, delicious charcoal lamb and not too greasy. Very speedy and friendly family owned business. Would recommend

Amazing place. Yiros is 11/10, service is great. They bring the food over, place down napkins (and lots of them thank god) then places down a larger napkin to collect all the bits that fall out. Very impressed. You won't eat a yiros from anywhere else again.

This was easy the best yiros I have ever eaten… it all starts with the charcoal and quality meat … as a butcher I can tell he uses top quality lamb and is very generous with the serving! Going to get one today I think
