Vadoulis Garden Centre

The breakfast menu has changed recently. Previously it was an easy 5 stars, however now everything is pre-made and all round terrible.
The garden centre is still fantastic but steer clear of the cafe.

I would encourage the centre to reconsider their menu change and the options available. Very unsatisfied with the quality and size of the food presented today. Historically the restaurant was our default but we will not be returning. Quite possibly the worst breakfast I have been served.

Absolutely the worst customer service. I choose Vadoulis as it's local and wanting to support a local business.
I found a great outdoor setting and tried to find someone to help me. After a quick look around the yard, I found 3 staff members giggling like school kids due to a pot 'Mel' moved into one of the paths.
I asked them, Andrew, Tim and Mel (According to their name tags) for assistance in purchasing an outdoor setting to which Tim advised that there "Should be someone inside to help you as they are outside staff".
I went back indoors and only found one staff member swamped at the registers. I lined up to see if they could call someone to help me. After 10 minutes, I finally reached the front of the line and asked for assistance. Lovely girl, Nikita, said she shouldn't leave the register as there were customers to serve (Approx 5 behind me) but said she would call someone to help me.
She put a call out on her radio and no less than 5 sec later a male voice came back stating "They were busy with a customer" I then stated they were just out there doing nothing to which she replied "Welcome to my world" we both had a laugh.
I headed back out to where I last saw the trio, and they were still there, no customers in sight. I approached them and again asked for assistance to which was again told, "There should be inside staff to help you. "
I said the only inside staff are busy at the registers, and I heard you state you were busy with customers, which there are none to be seen out here. Rudely, with him rolling his eyes, Andrew grumbled "Well what do you want help with then. " OMG!
Clearly, the business is earning enough money to keep these leeches employed to provide poor customer service. I walked out and took my business to bunnings. Imagine how much more business this place would do if they replaced these 3 with people who actually want to work and enjoyed the work that they did.

Love going and visit this Garden centre, Great Cafe for lunch and coffee, when you finish come home with some plants shopping

Enjoy a walk around the plants, tools, outdoor furniture household decorating, bags, clothes or even artificial flowers. There is a nice little cafe if you want to have a break in between shopping. So much on offer in the one place.

A beautiful place for sure, normally I find the service fantastic, but I feel it was all a bit forced yesterday, the guy on the checkout had the personality of a plank, but as I said it is just beautiful

What a beautiful store with all the home and garden accessories and selections. The indoor plants all look very clean and cared for and the selection is big, I ended up finding a little plant tucked away behind others that I had been searching other nursery's for.
The pricing on plants goes from reasonable (on par with other nursery's) to wow, what a jump in price.
The customer service was friendly and caring, I had two staff ask how my day is and made me feel welcomed.

Service was good and food was tasty too. Definitely not a place to go to if your short on cash as breakfast for 2 was $54. That was 2 meals and 2 hot drinks. Vegetarian options are available but not a lot of choice. Very fancy presentation but it was tasty and filling. Facilities are a bit old but were passable.

Had a lovely lunch in the cafe, staff very nice. Garden centre and gift sections are really lovely, as is the o/d furniture.
Unfortunately less than impressed with the less than friendly female staff on the garden centre

This is honestly one of the friendliest and welcoming cafe in Gawler I have been to all the staff members are amazing and very kind and helpful if you are in Gawler go here for the best customer service and if you want to work here it is amazing environment to work in with everyone being so nice 10/10

The garden centre is good: healthy plants, wide variety of fertilisers and other chemicals to support the garden. Plenty of pots to choose from and an excellent Cafe within the facility. We had a great lunch at the Cafe. We will return.

Wonderful range of everything. Not only plants. Gift shop is great as is the Cafe.
Wonderful relaxing time.

You definitely need to go to the Cafe, great food and service. The garden centre is lovely as well.

An all round great experience. A fantastic range of plants, beautiful home decor to choose from and our coffee and cake was excellent! (So many delicious cakes to choose from!)

A brilliant nursery, many fond memories of coming here as a child. Some great hours spent walking through the nursery, great selection of cottage plants, natives, fruiting varieties and ferns, pines and conifers. Garden supplies, outdoor furniture, pots and homewares. The Cafe on site is also more than adequate. Bring your wallet and ute or trailer. You wont leave empty handed.

Great place to shop and the Cafe was a real surprise, absolutely fantastic great food and friendly staff. The quality of plants and range on offer is excellent in thd nursery, plenty of other outdoor products to purchase as well.
