Engaging a tradesperson is often a leap of faith, and my recent encounter serves as a stark warning. Urbanoz, seemingly promising excellence during the initial consultation, turned out to be the worst I've ever hired.

The initially reasonable quote took an astonishing leap, revealing either a severe lack of competence in estimating the project or a deliberate attempt at deception. The cost became exorbitant, far exceeding the value of the service provided.

Equally disheartening was the subpar workmanship. What was touted as meticulous and professional service crumbled into a disappointing reality of shoddy craftsmanship. The result not only failed to meet expectations but also demanded additional corrective measures.

This tradie's unreliability and questionable ethics make them one to avoid. I urge caution to anyone considering their services. This experience underscores the need for thorough research before entrusting your home to the hands of a tradesperson. Let this serve as a cautionary tale – be vigilant in your choices, and don't let enticing promises blind you to potential pitfalls.

An absolutely brilliant company to work with! Urban Oz, have been exceptional throughout our two-stage renovation and have seriously exceeded our expectations! Tom, the company director is second to none, his communication is outstanding as he keeps you posted every step of the way, checking in with regular phone calls and site visits. Tom listens respectfully and works collaboratively with you to incorporate your design ideas, bringing them to life in a practical way, considering possibilities and limitations, helping you make decisions based on design and budget. The Urban OZ company really does have a family-like feel with a team of tradies and staff who are genuinely well looked after and supported. We can't thank Ricky, Pete, Jake and the team for their workmanship and craft in transforming our home into a contemporary, light and airy, comfortable and liveable space. Many people have a building renovation story to tell, our story with Urban OZ has been the best!

They renovated 2 bathrooms for us - one a full renovation & the 2nd was a retro fit.
The quality of their workmanship is excellent and we are very happy with both bathrooms.
As a team they are professional, courteous, friendly, tidy & always on time. Steve's communication was excellent & we always knew when the tiler or plumber etc were due to be on site. His input/suggestions/problem solving was also very helpful.

We got UrbanOz to install a 3-in-1 bathroom fan, (which required lifting roof sheets to install ducting to the eaves), and also vent our rangehood to the eaves. The team were just fantastic - Steve discussed the options for the job with us and took into consideration the issues we were concerned about, gave us great advice, and was able to arrange for the electrical work we needed done as well. The guys arrived as scheduled on the days that had been arranged, their work was tidy and well finished, and they left the areas they'd worked on neat and clean. We're really happy with the quality of work done, the standards of the team, and overall service provided - and especially happy that we now have great bathroom ventilation and a vented rangehood!
