Urban Desserts Morphett Vale reviews
28Just finished my 4 different desserts a citrus an apple cinnamon a mint candy cane one and egg nog.my favorite was the lemon citrus but all delicious and appealing. I love how they taste like what they are meant to and not overpowered with straight up sugar. No photos to add cos there is nothing left. Cost I thought was fair. If you eat out at a dessert restaurant 11.00 is on the lower end of cost:
I had really high hopes about this dessert place. I bought 2 cakes, very expensive at $11 each! I wouldn’t mind if they were worth it. The biscoff cake tastes NOTHING like biscoff at all, the mousse seemed full of gelatine with a slimy texture which I don’t like. Desserts do look appealing and colourful and I understand a lot of time and effort has gone into creating them but for me the flavour just wasn’t there.
Friends brought 4 of these deserts to lunch and we each got a quarter. I have to admit I don't usually have desserts but after these I may need to make an exception. WOW just WOW, so well presented, flavors to impress and layers to explore.
We had been meaning to come to the store for a bit and found the one at colonnades, these desserts are ridiculous.
We got the Turkish delight, the hazelnut and the gaytime and between myself and my partner we're fighting over who gets what.
There was a comment about the price on here, I respectfully disagree, money definatly well spent and hopefully we can try some of the other ones next time we're there!
Keep up the good work guys!
I recently visited Urban Desserts in Morphett Vale to treat my mum for her birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the funky graffiti atmosphere to the works-of-art desserts, it was heaven on earth. The desserts are so intricately created and I was truly blown away! I can't stop thinking about the Milo cake I had.it was so delicious
I tried a lemon cheesecake, Golden Gaytime, an iced Volvo and a blueberry cheesecake and I was very impressed with the flavour and presentation. The staff were also very friendly. I would definitely recommend Urban Desserts to anyone.
Had a co-worker buy something from you guys and have been totally hooked ever since. Amazing
Deserts to die for. Lots of choice & flavours. Staff are very friendly & helpful. 1 suggestion if I may. A menu board with the flavours with picture? I nearly chose a cake on looks yesterday that had no name card.only that another customer asked what it was & it had Passionfruit in that I am actually allergic too. Keep up the great work. Will be back
After seeing all the amazing photos and videos on their Facebook - I decided enough is enough and I headed down and purchased our first 4 urban desserts. We got lemon cheesecake, fig and pistachio and caramel apple. All I can say is HOLY MOLY, I was worried that they would only look good but taste too sweet/rich but all of them were perfectly balanced with tartness/sweetness. My parents loved the desserts too. Our favourite was the lemon cheesecake and caramel apple. We ended up coming to buy more the next day! Reasonably priced too - each one costs $10 which is fair due to the effort and time that obviously goes into each dessert. The staff are all wonderful too as is the owner! Best of luck to the team, we will spread the word to support this great business!
Omg.my hubby, grandson & I treated ourselves to Urban Desserts for the first time ever & we were not disappointed. This place is a little hidden gem. If you love desserts, cakes etc, you will love this place. It's not over powered by sweetness either, the balance is purely perfect, our opinions anyway. Support local, support great food. Can't wait for our next visit to try some more desserts ️
Wow. I'm hooked! Absolutely delishous desserts. I'm gradually working my way through every one.and haven't been disappointed yet. Just wish they were open tonight.was just about to jump in car and grab a couple for me and hubby to watch with a saturday night movie. I need to plan better.
Well done guys! Your unique, little gem of a business is really, really good.
My favourite place to get something yummy and sweet. Always a wide variety of options, never disappointed in what I get
Great tasting and looking cakes with many gluten free cake options. The other half says the coffee was good too. Very friendly and welcoming service.
I didn’t know I needed biscoff cronuts in my life until I popped into urban desserts and had one of theirs, literally felt like I was in my happy place!
Can we also just appreciate how nice the staff are? The lovely lady at the front desk is so welcoming and you can tell she’s proud to serve these desserts to us - Highly recommend popping in to check it out:)
Nice dessert shop, lovely coffee and very helpful friendly staff. Will definitely be going back happy its so close to home.
I just devoured a gluten free banana cake with caramel coated mousse on top. It was so delicious.best part was it wasnt sweet so you didnt feel horrid afterwards. Great coffee too and the girl that served me was lovely its nice to have good customer service! Definately will be back to try more. Thanks guys keep up the good work!
This shop has the most amazing desserts and macarons washed down with a coffee to go. Every week something new and holiday treats are a must. Support local for your next get together. Bet yet try them yourself you won’t be disappointed.
I had a Petit Gateau (cobbler peach, vanilla, and almond) and an almond hot chocolate. Absolutely loved it and 100% recommend. The best almond hot chocolate I've had in years. Well worth the trip
Went in today and ordered 4 small cakes and a macaron. Honestly don't know how this hidden gem wasn't vibing on a Saturday afternoon! The guy at the counter who served us (potentially the chef) was so lovely and told us all about the different flavours. Everything tastes divine! Michelin star quality for such a reasonable price, and the chef really knows what he's doing. We'll definitely be back and supporting local!
By far the best desert shop in Adelaide!
If you like "masterchef" quality deserts, give this place a try! You will not regret it!
Great coffee too:)
