University Health Practice

This practice is fantastic. My issues have always been taken seriously and approach in a empathetic and collaborative approach. Dr Bolton is a great doctor who listens to my perspective and gives great evidenced based advice.

Couldn't recommend Dr Bolton enough. Fantastic doctor. Best Doctor I've ever seen.

This was my first time visiting the University Health Practice. All of the staff were nice and professional, and Dr. Ramos was lovely and very detailed in all of her explanations. The person who took my blood was understanding of my aversion to needles and made me feel super comfortable. There was just a 15 minute wait beyond my scheduled appointment time, but that's really not a big deal.

All staffs from reception to doctor are very welcoming. They are really genuine and professionals.

It's been a pleasure having Dr Paul Bolton as my GP over the years. He's knowledgeable, affable, empathetic, and approachable - qualities that all GPs should aspire too.

Very nice service! The gp was very helpful and actually began the meeting a bit prior to the booked time (since they saw me waiting already). That saved a lot of time!

I've been seeing Dr Chen for over a decade. He is a brilliant, confident & thorough clinician and a lovely person. I cannot reccomend him highly enough.

When I got there, there was a small waiting time (but that's to be expected with clinics) but it's not as long compared to others! The experience there was pleasant and so far the workers I've met has been really polite and nice.

My first visit where an appointment was arranged at short notice with very little waiting. Dr Paul Bolton was personable as well as proficient and nothing was rushed…I was impressed.

They were fast at getting me a full appointment (from the afternoon to the following morning). The doctor was very friendly, professional and listened to my worries/queries. And I got my tetanus booster right there and then. I definitely recommend them.

The place is clean and the staff is efficient. I was taken in by the doctor exactly at my appointment time. So no waiting. It was my first visit to the health center. So had to pay an administration fee of $11. I don’t know whether this payment needs to be done at every visit. I went in as a student. So I’m not aware of the costs yet as my insurer will be billed directly.
Because the place is small and the receptionists are seated close to each other, when one serves another customer, it’s very difficult to hear what the othet receptionist serving you says. The place is compact and today happened to be a busy day too. So it was a bit noisy.

I've seen several doctors at the University Health Practice on North Terrace and they have all be professional and easy to talk to. I'm happy with the way they have helped me with my health concerns. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Receptionist was nice.

Dr Paul Bolton was rude and unprofessional today, dismissing my concerns about my hand issues.

Complaint has already been filed over email to practice manager

Doctor Chen was personable and an excellent physician. Highly recommend him and being at the cutting edge of medical knowledge at University- I endorse the practice and the practice full heartedly.

Great practice, I love it. Steph Taylor and Louise Stranks are fantastic, have been coming for years.

A good doctors surgery to visit if your a student at uni with no long waiting times and nice caring staff, doctors and health care workers!

I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience.
These days I feel like I don't expect much when I go to the GP, yet I'm continually dissapointed. But today was different.
The doctor I saw was engaged, interested, looked at me instead of the screen, asked relevant questions, took the time to work out what was going on for me and it really helped.
It was a huge relief to speak to someone that had some background in my issue.

It felt like the first time I had been heard for a long time and I wasn't super aware of time pressure for the doctor because I was being rushed out the door.

At the end of the consult he wrote down the 'plan' on a piece of paper so I could take that away and be clear about what we discussed and my next steps. It was something that seems simple but ensured the communication we shared was clear and also followed through.

Dr Steff is a caring professional doctor. She always takes the time to address your concerns and explain things properly. I would recommend her to anyone.

Did a telehealth appt for a simple prescription renewal. So easy! Very good service from this clinic.
