United Melrose Park (Pie Face) reviews
19The guy that was working on this day wouldnt let me use the toilet. They had 2 separate toilets that can be used but he kept saying its closed! It wasnt getting cleaned at the moment i was about to use it! This guy needs more training on customer service he absolutely had non of that! Paying customer who use this servo regular!
Have filled patrol and just 1 minute went to the store to pay (didn’t lock the car) when I’m back my phone was stolen, it my fault that didn’t know the car, but they doesn’t want help to check cctv
everyone should pay more attention even you just leave one minute but please lock the car
This servo was a great help when our Magna overheated. It had the coolant and oil and funnel we needed and choice of drinks while we waited for the engine to cool down.
Had better pies microwaved at home. Absolutely disgusting and for $7.50
Never going to Liberty again!
$7.50 for a microwave pie is a joke. Stop buying pies here and go to a real bakery and support local
If you consider microwaved baked, sorry I won’t be back for a soggy pie and I don’t believe any pride is taken in the making and serving of your pies
Ubered from here twice both times didnt give me correct order. 2nd time i left and order note asking them if they didnt have what i ordered in stock to not replace with something else but just cancel my order, and they still didnt give me what i ordered. Wont be ubering from here again ive learnt my lesson.
I’m in the road all day and unfortunately have to use public toilets. This service station toilets are by far the worst I’ve ever seen. Snot and urine up the walls, fingerprint and filth all over the toilet and basin. Absolutely repulsive.
As for your curries egg sandwich, whist the bread was perfectly fresh the filling (curried egg) was like chewing blocks of rubber and was so old the white boiled parts was almost see through. Never again.
Last time I went pies were cold in centre. This time I asked for two different vegan pies extra hot. Was given two of the same cold meat pies. Give up.
$7 for a pie. I mean seriously. $7 for a servo Steak and Peppercorn pie. It's already an unbelievable amount, but I read underneath the tag that it's won some kind of *Award* or something, so I go ahead and purchase it. Bite into it, and the pie IMMEDIATELY begins to disintegrate in my hands. I've got singeing hot pie running all down my hands and my work shirt. This wasn't some messy-eater situation either. With each bite, the top would crack open in another section and more of the filling would flow out of an ever-increasing number of holes, seemingly EVERYWHERE BUT MY MOUTH. The integrity of the pie was simply trash. $7 spent on utter trash. Not to mention it took a weird amount of time to heat up. For an establishment who seems to be proudly advertising their pie expertise, one would expect pies to be ready to be eaten, not heated up for 2-3 minutes. And even then, one would think that if extra effort is being put into the preparation of the pie, that said pie might be even just the slightest bit enjoyable, and yknow, not attacking the eater. Just zero structural integrity. If you're going to 'zap' your pies in the microwave RIGHT before eating to get them to an okay temperature, then at least have pastry sturdy enough to handle such a procedure. Once again, $7 pie. $7 for a burnt hand and ruined clothing. NEVER buy food from this establishment. $7 for a pie!
Good fuel prices at the right time, not a big fan of their pastries, rather go to the village baker, much nicer
I purchased a herb chicken and avocado sandwich costing $7.50 for lunch today. Before purchasing i asked if they were fresh, the lady serving me didn't know but the man said "yes, they come in fresh every night at midnight". The sandwich was soggy and disgusting. There was a useby date on the wrapper made on the 12th, useby the 17th. Today is the 16th, certainly not fresh!
Today, myself and others were scammed into paying a surcharge on their atm as their eftpos was apparently not working, which we were not informed of until we went to pay at the counter. Except after getting back from the atm the eftpos was suddenly working again. They also refused to give reciepts and did not care at all that they had made people pay extra to get cash out.
I usually have a quick and painless trip there even though it seems only one employee works at a time whilst the other stands around and watches the line of people, but today was bull.
Alright when its only a few vehicle's but after that poor design for a servo and not enough pumps, counter staff could put on a fake smile?
Always the best price in southern Adelaide.
$1 small coffee.
Great service.
Don't know here all the 1 star reviews come from. I use this place 4 times a week - always great.
DO NOT GO HERE - PUMPS ARE NOT ACCURATE, 3 TIMES IN A ROW ISSUES WITH THE DIESEL PUMPS. MONEY IS TICKING OVER OVER BUT FUEL NOT COMING OUT. THEN ME AND CUSTOMERS NOTICED FIRE INSIDE THE PUMP WITH SMOKE COMING OUT FROM INSIDE THE PUMP. THEY THEN WANT ME TO PAY WHICH I REFUSED TO DO AND OFFERED TO CALL THE POLCIE AFETR SHOWING THEM THE VIDEO OF PUMP WITH SMOKE COMING FROM THE INSIDES!
Third time we’ve bought a tub of ice cream from this servo and it’s iced over. Don’t know if they’re being left to melt before being put in the freezer or they’re old and should be thrown out! Be more diligent with your stock, make sure it’s fresh- this isn’t acceptable.
There was no fuel in the unleaded 91 tanks and i waited a lot. And machine still charged 1dollar even it is written minimum delivery is 2.5 litres. Worst fule pump ever
Disgusting service. Servo full of delicious pies at 1 am. Wouldn't sell them. Apparently they dont sell them at this time of the morning. Dont advertise pie face then simple. Rather drive to villis at least they were happy to sell me a pie.
If you're a motorbike rider avoid this place. They'll ask you to take off the helmet before fueling. Every other company doesn't seem to care except this one.
