Food, drinks and service were all infallible! Aki was absolutely fabulous, gave us amazing recommendations and made sure we had the best possible experience for our girls lunch. Would recommend to anyone wanting a delicious Japanese meal in Adelaide!

Great place for lunch. Nigiri, sushi rolls and Ramen - all a cut above any other Japanese in town.

Love love love this place. The food is delicious, the service is superb (the venue manager in particular is really the best). I've been here by myself, with friends, with family and even clients. Will keep coming back for more.

Very spacy atmosphere especially with their citypop playlist (much love from a fellow fan). The food was great but they used brown rice rather than the standard sushi rive which is abit odd for me, however the ingredients used were fresh and delicious. Recommend their unagi, otoro and salmon tataki.

Exceptional food service and a great wine list. Very pleasant owner / host made us feel welcome and would highly recommend for higher end Japanese offering in Adelaide.

Lunch at the sushi bar was cozy and relaxing, not too crowded, food was amazing, excellent services, I enjoyed their crab udon and fresh sashimi, also it’s a nice view to watch the chefs preparing food behind the sushi bar

We enjoyed a Saturday evening dinner sitting at Umaii with the 5-course tasting menu and matching wines. The value for money was excellent. The food was delicious, with beautifully balanced flavours and seasoning. The selected wines paired very well with each course. The atmosphere was classy while also warm and relaxed. We advised staff of time constraints ahead of time as we had a show to attend which was perfectly accommodated without feeling rushed. An overall fantastic experience!

I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of this newcomer and I'm sure to become a regular.
The menu has a wide selection catering to most peoples favourites and the beverage list is quite broad as well. Neither are too overwhelming but manage to cover a lot of ground.
The staff are quite engaging and happy to assist with their thoughts and knowledge.
The space has both tables and stool seating catering to long sittings or quick 'in and outs'.

Fantastic service & very good food! We didn’t get the names of the wait staff (3rd March) in charge of reception/ cashier) + our waiter. I got a surprise candlelit on our dessert, as I was celebrating my birthday. Sashimi was fresh, right sized portions. Everything we ordered was very, very good. Will definitely be back ️

First time visit and I totally love this place. We had the lunch set menu on special and it was amazing. The seafood (salmon, chutoro, unatama, kingfish) are very nice and fresh. We have beers and also have cheesecake for dessert to go with our meals. Best price ever. You must go here and try yourself.

Delightful and delicious lunch. Attentive staff. Excellent chefs. Tried many different sashimi and nigiri, including eel, all excellent. Good wines and beers by the glass; not an extensive list but good selection. Quiet venue that was spoiled a little by music that was a little too loud, but conversation was just fine (could hear easily and did not need to shout). Will go again.

Love their sushi - very good quality. But the rice was bit cold and hard because they serve the several sushi at once. I ordered 6-7 pieces at once and the sushi rice was too cold and hard. I wish they have the option to choose white rice or brown rice. Brown rice is too hard for sushi. I also order one piece of sushi after the first plate, it was much better. I guess the later one was service right after made. I wish they serve size of sushi plate faster or in different servces.

Best Japanese food I’ve eaten in Adelaide! Everything was so refined and delicious, my favourite dishes were the Umaii roll and the crab udon. Service was super lovely too

One of the best meals I've had in a long time from start to finish. Elegant fit out, moody and chic decor, carpeted so it's not loud and clattery, music at just the right level. Friendly and attentive service. Food presented beautifully (I had the Kingfish ceviche and karaage chicken, totally Instaworthy), tasted amazing, perfect cocktails. To top it off, they even let us pay separately without any dramatics. 10/10 can't wait to return.

Absolute 5 gold stars for us. Every dish and every morsel was simply delicious. Beautiful venue, very friendly staff. As we sat we lined up with a friend another special occasion to come back.
