Two Fat Chooks Chicken and Seafood

Only ordered chips for a snack, whilst chips had a good crunch & texture, lacked a bit of flavoured salt. Expensive for size and also 1% eftpos surcharge

Chips were great, nothing to fault. The Fat Burger on the other hand was woeful. For the price of the burger you get a frozen tasteless patty you can buy from a supermarket, no seasoning and drenched in tomato sauce and the cheese was horrid.

Paid $10 for chips with chicken salt and got a bag that’s worth no more than $4.50, plus the service was poor, their way overpriced and chips were soggy. Will not be going back!

From working at a chip shop they are very over priced paid $10 for chips and got enough for maybe two people. Chips weren’t cooked enough and were soggy and not tasty at all. Will not be coming back again

Best chicken and chips shop out there, 10000% recommend.love the people that work there they tha bomb and worth the 30 minute walk.shut your mouth with the bad reviews this is my favourite place to go to and the owners don’t deserve the hate.

Review update - February 2023:

The quality of food, taste and service did improve after my last review, and for a few years after might I add! I believe the lady with the black hair who often served at the counter, may have been a co-owner and/or parent to one or both of the two guys that work there? She was always friendly, actively listened and ensured your food was up standards.

Even the blonde older lady who was also counter service was lovely, and if you wanted something extra (i.e salt, sauce etc), she made sure like the other lady that you got it!

Unfortunately, over the past 6 months (at least) both these ladies are either not there or not as often. They have new (er) staff who don't listen to customers and food quality has become poor once again, tasteless and very sloppy in-fact. Customer service has gone askew and it's quite evident the Mission and Vision of this store needs a review by the owners.

We locals want to support local businesses, however if you're going to provide poor quality (Food and Service) we will go elsewhere.

So far so good however the prawns were way over cooked, not really edible.

Chips were fresh but bland, they don't put much salt on them.

Battered fish was yummo!

Will give them another few goes as they have only been there approx. 3 weeks. Let's hope they take on constructive criticism, so they remain in business and locals have a great chicken/fish n chips shop to go to.

I have tried this chicken shop 3 times as it's closest to where I live, same result 3 times.chips cooked in front of me less than 3 minutes from home, cold and tasteless, chicken, time I got home (3) minutes cold and tasteless, Egg salad tasteless. Service ordinary, the lady cut up my chicken did not use gloves? Level of interest in customer Zero, more interested in looking at their phones, Add insult to injury by placing egg salad in the same bag as chicken and chips? I took the egg salad out so it didn't get hot.
My wife says that this was the worst takeaway we have had.
Guys, you have to improve if you want loyal and happy customers. Don't like to complain but you all seem to have zero interest in anything other than your own little world. I will have to travel further to a chicken shop that I know is good, it's a pity as I live in woodville north and there are not a lot of chicken shops in the area

My family and I enjoy the food. We also enjoy having a chat with the crew when there. However the opening hours are bizarre. Closing at 8.00 of a Thursday? Late night shopping night? Need to be open longer, the nature of a take away business = long hours. Sad but true!

Very disappointed we brought a chicken n salads the chicken was dry n burnt egg salad had shell in it n the Greek salad tasted like it’s been sitting there for over a week was not happy

How can the chooks be fat if they pretty much starved with how long they had to wait for chips…?

Amazing service - I was late to pick up but they remade my order (without me asking) so it was fresh. So kind!

$5.90 bag of chips you got to be kidding me could have got a large chips from maccas for $3.50 same amount wont be back

Excellent, spoke with lady, got some extra food, can adjust food packs to your liking.

Update 22 food still good, but prices gone sky high (esp on ubereats), must be the rent?

0/10 for service, no welcome no common courtesy, 2/10 for chips, chips were plain fried even no chicken salt.and 0/10 for skinless and tasteless chicken, seems like chicken steamed even marinade skin was off. Guy who served me is not interested in business. Better places out there. Not coming back.

Yucky poo. Coles schnittys overcooked even.yesterday's half frozen salads.took my money.never again. Yuck.

Honestly one of the best chicken shops I've ever been to, I don't know how they make the food so good every time

Was only luck we come across this place after trying so many average places this place is hands down our go to now! Everything was fresh and full of flavour
