Turkey Flat Vineyards

Fabulous experience! We had the Rosè and a platter and sat on the veranda with our dog as the rain poured down. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and went above to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Definitely will be back. Thank you Turkey Flat!

My man and I stopped in here whilst doing a whirlwind tour of the barossa and we were not disappointed. Tom was our host and he was amazing, approachable and had an in depth knowledge of the wines (which is what we come for lol). We especially liked the sparkling shiraz. Extremely enjoyed our tasting here and just want to say that Tom made our experience even better.

Have visited Turkey Flat many times over the past few years, and have consistently enjoyed myself. The wines are great, the staff amazing, and the vibe really family oriented and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend it higher.

Visited this lovely vineyard last weekend as part of a tour. The wines are superb. I didn't try a single variety that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I even bought a bottle of their exceptionally good rosé, despite not being a rosé fan in general.

The location is gorgeous, and you can sit in the garden under the gum trees listening to kookaburras and other bird life whilst you sample some top-notch wines.

We did only the basic tasting experience, but it was very well done with excellent service, and now some of are looking to return to do their full tasting experience.

Try their flagship shiraz. There's a good reason it's well-known as one of the best SA has to offer.

Kristy was a beautiful host.she made us feel so welcome and was lovely to chat to.the wine was delicious as well.

Had a fabulous time visiting Turkey Flat. Had to organise a staff function/bus tour. They staff Kristie, Irene and Poppy were fabulous and such great fun. Really accommodating for larger groups. Looking forward to coming back.

Okay the Turkey Flat white Vermouth I found makes an awesome martini and dirty martini. This weekend (15 July 2023) we tried the Turkey Flat red vermouth.its nice straight with a bit of ice and is excellent in a Negroni. Replace cinzano vermouth with Turkey Flat vermouth and use aperol instead of campari. I can see this as a great spring afternoon tipple.

Turkey Flat wines is such a beautiful place to chill out any time of the year! I use the stunning features outside for family photo sessions and also shot an exclusive small wedding here for a couple form the UK. My husband loves the dainty looking bottle of sweet sticky wine they call the Pedro, so I always make sure I grab him a bottle when I visit! If you haven't been to Turkey Flat yet, make sure you chuck it on your list for places to visit in the Baros Valley! We really enjoyed tasting through the wines at Turkey Flat. Last night we enjoyed a 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon recommended to us by Clive. He was very knowledgeable on the wines and the Barossa. We will definately be coming back.

By far my favourite winery I have ever visited! My friend and I were there last Sunday and we had an amazing and very lovely hostess Natalie (apologies if I have gotten her name wrong) from Switzerland. She is so wonderful and knowledgably and just a breathe of fresh air with her wonderful personality. Thank you for making our first Turkey Flat visited a great one. I highly recommend this winery to all looking for unique and fantastic wines to try and buy but also a great experience too! I will be back!
