TUFF & SONS

I rang tuff and sons multiple times while we were renovating our backyard.
The first time the owner answer (the father) he gave me lots of advice on lawn and dirt qualities.
From there it went down hill quickly.
I rang back to place an order and got the son who seemed to have no idea what was going on and continued to pass off questions onto his father who was never there.
He’d say “ oh that’s a better question for my dad…” unhelpful!
After having the dirt delivered there driver hit our fence and gate more then once. Our gate would not close afterwards.
He was very very old and maybe wasn’t the man for the job.
Trying to complain I got the son again and he took my number and passed it onto his dad … never heard from him.
We then went to order lawn through them and I rang again, and again the son answered and said he didn’t know much about lawn and I should speak with his dad… who is never there.he also said his father would come and look at the damages on Saturday so I gave him my number again and said “ please get him to ring me”.
He came Saturday when we were not home and left his business card which only has the businesses number, which from my experience so far does not actually get me in contact with him.
We bought our lawn through someone else

Great workmanship by Steve, very professional. Really appreciated the work done on my property. I totally recommend this company.

The truck almost run me off the road on Lonsdale freeway a few weeks ago. His mirrors and indicators must be broken.

Great old fashioned service. Polite, helpful staff who actually listen to you and provide helpful advice rather than just wanting to take your money the way some places do.

Stopped to buy Pavers and ended up picking up a sturdy wheelbarrow aswell! The young gentleman that served me even took the time to use their air compressor to ensure optimal tyre inflation for the days work ahead!

Great business with old fashioned values. I get my mulch and aviary sand delivered from Tuff all the time. Their advice is always directed to your needs and they're an old local family business. Highly recommended.

This company has dangerous, terrible truck drivers - one of whom almost ran me off the road as I was turning onto a main road at the lights. Instead of slowing down until I turned he sped up and missed running me into the curb by millimeters. He continued to drive like a maniac well above the speed limit for some kilometers. When I rang & complained the person on the phone (who would not put me through to the manager) said that they often have complaints like this and that it is most likely the other person's fault! I told him that I would be reporting him to the police and he laughed! Disgusting attitude from this company!
