Trinity Church Adelaide reviews
25Beautiful old church, very well maintained and lots of interesting history to learn about. Great guided history tours.
Quite a few people from this church is absolutely racist. I know God will not forgive all of you and you will be treated the same way in your life.
Worship was alright, sermon was OK. Building was absoloutley freezing (July) and the windows were open! After the service I walked slowly out to where supper was suposed to be served and waited. One person eventualy spoke to me.
28/09/22: Thanks for your reply, I've bumped the rating up to 3 stars.
Trinity Church is an extremely conservative church heavily influenced by Sydney Anglican doctrines. Women are not permitted to teach or preach except under the authority of a man, and a patriarchal (or “complementarian”) model of marriage, relationships and gender roles is upheld. Not LGBT+ affirming. A strong focus on the “authority” of Scripture which does not allow for questioning or discussion of alternative interpretations to their preferred translation, the ESV, which has a strong patriarchal bias.
Lovely people and lovely Sunday morning worship. Very easy to understand the bible, and very welcoming perish.
I find Trinity City a place that strengthens my faith and spirit. It happens when they read the Bible to us, lead us in Holy Communion, teach us from Scripture, and lead us in prayer.
To me they do the basics well, in a sensible and economical manner.
They have a distinct 'Gospel' emphasis that (in my mind) reflects God's heart for the world. I thank God often, for this place.

Beautiful historical chapel.
Always noted for conservative beliefs but still popular. Lots of services.
One of my daughters worships at this church, and I visit about once a year. Alive, welcoming, God honouring. Great church!
PS The photo is from the 15th floor of Oaks Embassy next door.
I've been a few times and would recommend to anyone - whether you want to check out who Jesus is. Its just everyday people (of all ages) who would love to meet you, have a chat and perhaps go for a coffee after.
Really good church, has as many demographics as possible, suitable for families, both those with young children (including babies) and those with teenagers, couples, singles, and seniors, local and international, especially for Mandarin speakers.
Friendly people all ages & many families multicultural. You are very welcomed to a variety of many services. Beautiful place to come and worship God for a visit or on regular basis.
Was here looking for something else and found this amazing building. Just a huge, lovely historic place.
Adelaides first Church so history, great teaching from the bible, many services to suit every need and visitors always welcomed.
Very historical and significant. My uncle (five times removed), Albion Cowley married Harriet Cowley (nee Heaven) there in 1838. As did his brother Joseph Fisher Cowley to Mary Cowley (nee Divers) in 1846.
I like the sermons and they have a great kids program from 0 to uni. Tho mostly 0 to yr 7,8. Then in the afternoon uper high school to uni. And fellowship groups.
Best church in Adelaide!
(Great pastors, great sermons, great community, and in a central location with parking for guests. Yeah, and the church bells sound great too!).
The Best Church in Adelaide I feel! Great Atmosphere, Friendly and Welcoming Team, Wonderful praise and Worship team. Praise be to God
A bible centered church that has been an immense blessing to my family and I since we moved to Adelaide in 2015.
Evangelical Anglican church. One of the best if not THE best bible teaching church in Adelaide. Programs for all ages. Four gathering times to choose from.
It’s the starting point of a 3 hours Adelaide city walk if following one of the offical tour guide from the information center. The historical place is opposite to the Adelaide Convention Center and minutes away from Hindley street west bound. It’s a nice building full of history and where the welcoming community serves.
