Amazing location, beautiful cottage, a great place to unwind and just relax. We loved our time here enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fire to the breathtaking sunsets and sunrise, bush walks and sauna.

A truly wonderful bit of accommodation in Clare for a memorable and truly South Australian experience. Would highly recommend to anyone coming into the state to experience great wine regions or for anyone South Aussies looking to explore this great state a bit more.

Great place to escape to and enjoy the Clare Valley. The cottage is full of interesting nick-nacks and family memories. I would highly recommend this for a getaway with a difference.

Had high hopes from the pics and reviews and was still impressed! A spectacular amount of care and detail has gone into this place, with fascinating tools, trinkets and books everywhere that highlight the history of the cottage. Great place to disconnect from technology but close enough to the town for everything you need. Fully quipped - even a/c, laundry, sauna, and a fly-screened outdoor bedroom. Now I'd like to come back in Winter for that fireplace!

WOW! What an amazing hidden Gem. Located in Clare, surrounded by bush land this beautiful cottage is everything you could want for a rejuvenating getaway! I was in awe when we entered- the home is made of stone walls and high wooden ceiling and floors. The furniture is all old and oozing with character. The bath is old school. Outside is a gorgeous see thru room (a sun room in which you can sit and read or enjoy the sunset or even sleep in there permitted it’s warm enough.) Down a few steps and there awaits a sauna! There’s an old fashioned shower system outside if feeling brave enough in cooler months. There’s plenty of firewood for the sauna as well as the lounge room. Breakfast ingredients was provided as well as fruit and some drinks. There’s plenty of area to walk, in fact we hiked for several hours.
We stayed here two nights and could have easily enjoyed this place for a week! There is nothing to fault about this enticing, beautiful cottage. Lisa was super friendly when I phoned to make the booking, she was very detailed about everything we needed to know.
Highly recommend this place, it’s got to be South Australia’s BEST getaway.

Superb bnb nestled in the bush near superb wineries/restaurants and nature walks. Highly recommended romantic getaway for 2. Beautiful sky, morning and night, all year round venue.
