Travelway Motel

My Husband and I, plus our fur baby (English Staffy) had a wonderful stay at the Travelway. Best budget accommodation we have ever had. Stayed 3 nights in a large room with a large fridge and microwave so we could enjoy making our own food. On our 1st night we had a meal from the restaurant and it was excellent plus they delivered it to our room. Very friendly staff and we highly recommend staying at the Travelway for a comfortable stay and good food.

I stay there for work and the food and service and pool are excellent. The rib-eye stake is as good as I've had anywhere. Comfortable beds and good showers.

Very nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. Very friendly and cheerful. Unfortunately the meal was uneatable. The honey mustard toasted bread was so strong we couldn't eat it. I ordered a chicken stir-fry that was so salty I couldn't eat it. I took it home and threw it away. Am sure others have had good meals and maybe they were having an off night

After 12 hours travelling yesterday, this place was gold.
The staff are absolutely so accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the cottage as we were travelling with 3 dogs. This place was excellent, plenty of backyard space and full enclosed. We ordered dinner from the restaurant we had the lamb shanks. Oh my god they fell apart they were so delicious. I can only say if your in Port Pirie looking for somewhere to stay GO here. Thankyou so much for your hospitality. You guys really are the best.

Fabulous hotel with wonderful service and pet friendly shower was great and central location to the lovely Port Pirie!

What a lovely surprise - this is a traditionally run motel (which I always like) that delivers the goods, i.e. Cozy, spacious, clean room, good shower, ample parking, central location, and competitive rates. Staff were exceptionally friendly, at reception as well as in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is fantastic - completely unexpected in a place like this; they do a very professional dinner service, the menu is huge, and the food was creative and very tasty (stuffed chicken in tarragon sauce with asparagus - not your usual pub fare). Enjoyed my stay very much, hope I have the chance to come back someday.

You can't get better customer service than what's provided here, outstanding, such friendly staff and at an affordable price. A great location with plenty of amenities in the facility and great restaurant. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and is centrally located to all main amenities (walking distance). Restaurant has good food too!

This motel is 5 star in all respect rooms are excellent very dog friendly caters for travellers with dogs can't beat this, has everything you need for a great stay I will say it's way above the rest I've stayed at and offers great restaurant meals overall it's cosy and friendly the manager was a nice man friendly I would recommend this motel highly to other travellers it's a excellent stay would love to stay again without hesitation location is perfect nice and quiet left refreshed this motel is class and a great price I've seen many motels but this is the best by far thank you for a pleasurable stay.

Had the restaurant to ourselves so was pleasant & quiet. Atmosphere was good and meal was very nice. Prices reasonable. Best meal we've had out for ages. Will go back again.

Stayed last night, with a 10 week old puppy, very friendly and welcoming! Room v clean, comfortable bed, nothing to complain about. Good value! And then; the restaurant meals, delivered to our room. You won't find nicer food. The house Tartare sauce is unique, VERY generous size meals, delicious. We'll be back there every chance we have! Thank you!

Room was clean apart from the window seals, pillow cases for the spare pillows hadn't been washed in a while as you could smell the difference between the ones on the bed. Front staff however was friendly informative and very helpful. Maybe I should put in for a position as a cleaner as I have a better eye for detail and have previously worked as a motel cleaner. Motel was awesome just those little things that people pick up on that could be improved. Over all stay though was comfortable, and I slept rather well.

I felt comfortable and safe here. The guy at the front desk seemed kind and honest. The fan in the bathroom didn't work, but I'm not taking a point off for that.

We often travel with our children and just love the peace and amenities of this motel. We have a good time relaxing, using the pool and bbq facilities in the warm months. The staff and owner go above and beyond for us every time. Pet friendly too!
