Tranquil Minds SA: Counselling and Psychotherapy Service

I'll start by saying that I'm giving 2 stars as Belinda seems to be good at what she practices.

Unfortunately after our first two appointments that went well in July, we have had all of our subsequent 3 appointments over the last 5 weeks cancelled on us pretty last minute by the practice due to personal reasons on their end. Whilst I can sympathize and understand that personal issues occur in everyone's lives, our concern was with the communication coming the night before/morning of after waiting weeks for each appointment, or in today's case 30 minutes prior to the appointment.

The receptionist was apologetic at first but did not seem concerned when I proposed that my partner and I may have lost confidence in the level of care being offered towards our relationship issues.

This was my first attempt at therapy, when we could get in a therapy room the experience was great, she listened to our concerns and had a very calming effect on us. Unfortunately we are now out of pocket from 2 appointments and not any closer to mending our issues.

This may not be everyone's experience and
may not be the norm at this practice, but I can only review what I have personally experienced.

We will unfortunately have to start the therapy process over again elsewhere.
